Spammer

How do I get rid of the spammer who keeps sending dumb messages using my name? I already tried deleting my address book.

Rob, thanks bunches for 'talking' to me today and explaining the spam deal. You do so much and it is so appreciated.
I guess you can't keep'em from reading the forum, and collecting designs, but they can't advertise their weird sites without the members of the wack-a -spammer club alerting you. tee hee I don't know if you've had a chance to read a few pages back of this thread, but you should become a member of our club.

We usually track them down as they make their numerous posts throughout the forums using some bizzare, off the wall posts that make no sense. They seem to favor older threads. Their user names recently have been a combination of sequential letters and/or numbers. I believe there has only been 1 or 2 spammers since the initiation of our 'club.'

I don't think you can whack'em until they post then you tip the scales and give'em a whack. tee hee

I think it's just a troll or a previous forum 'member' who got banned a while back...but then again?

When a forum member who has been naughty gets banned from the forum, they can't ever post, under that name, but they can sign up as a troll and read, download the freebies, and I think purchase from the site. They just can't post on the forums...sigh
