Ginny and I discussed that earlier. In this instance, I don't know that it would do any good other than make the "giver" feel better. I think a report to administration might be a more forthright avenue. (Eeeeeew. Am I going soft?)

Hi Gals!

I see your problem on this one.
First I thought it was just new members trying to participate and look at all that is on the forum.
And yes it has made finding the new posts hard.
It is harmless if that is all they are doing.

If it's for points then it could be on the up and up as they may be just trying to save some dollars.
And then again it may not be.
This is a hard one to judge and solve.
Once they have been through everything then perhaps things will run smoothly!

I've sent a PM to tessiemarie, explaining how she is blocking the forums, and for her to please send PM's to anyone she wishes to compliment from old postings, and for her to join in the conversations if she wants to be part of the community.
She does speak English as her early posts were quite acceptable, so if some others could PM her as well she may get the message.
I too am getting fairly SiCK of seeing the forums buried under all of this

It seems that it was just a miss-understanding of how the forums work!
She just responded to my PM :

"sorry, was just trying to be curtious."

so hopefully all will be well

jagoda is now plastering the forum pages again another night and no sooner than tessiemarie no1 has finished. I find this very ironic. Forum members are going to be very upset having to scroll though 6 and/or more pages when they wake up.

well moto ... tessiemarie's "answer" to your PM was the attempt to give out red points herself... (but as she is in the negative, her rep points are only neutral, so no harm done). So I doubt she understood or is willing to change her attitude. And moreover, from what I can see she kept on spreading those meaningless posts. It's a pity.

There may be no change in her attitude and rep power is in the negative and may be no harm done there, However as soon as tessiemarie no1 stopped posting then jagoda started posting to me it appears suspicious and her rep power is 319. Her rep power had about tripled since the previous night. I do wonder who gave her all those rep points and now she can use them to give us neg rep points.

Any feedback on this issue???

tessiemarie hasn't posted since her PM to me, and jagoda hasn't posted since my PM to her, although she hasn't responded either. (Being Polish could be a handicap with the language) - she was still viewing threads after that.
I still have my fingers crossed that the 'penny has dropped'!
If jagoda does carry on with no change, I say hit her into the red, but until then I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Language barrier is a hadicap, however there is the translation tools avaible. We have been able to understand those that speak other languages pretty well. I agree that if jaroda continues hit her with the red, however I do hope it does not come down to that. I really do not like giving negative rep points other than to spammers otherwise it is all positive rep points I give.

Another point is that these two individuals seem to comment on many other posts but NOT this one which has been very prominant in the forum for the past several days.

I don't like trolling for new posts either because there were a few that I was following and now have to go back to my statistics to 'pick up the threads'. At first I was glad to see a couple of old posts reappear as they do on occassion but ^^&*$*())_ this is nuts!!

Well tessiemarie no1 is in the neg rep point stage, however where is jaroda getting all of these rep points at an alarming rate?? It sure is nuts. Now to have to go through all these pages on posts that we where following is obsurde.

Here is another 'wonder/thought'. I know that when I first saw an old post of mine in which I shared my free motion work I was flattered to see in back again and gave rep points (I don't believe that they had any at that point) and now am wondering if others did the same thing! But it would have to be some of us with a lot of points to really make their points jump so high so quickly. Just a thought!

I had no problem finding a new post gave neg rep points for generic posting. She now down to rep power 78 from I believe 311 rep power.
