Default New Monsters are so so cute!

Aren't the new monsters appliques so cute! Can't wait to use them! I think I will put one on a rice bag cover and one on my sling. would go with the saying: "everyone feels like a one-eyed, green monster sometime" Also may have to put one on gg (maybe even gs) outfits. "What cute little monster? I don't see a cute little monster!"

Anyone else have plans for these cuties?

How bout, something related to Embroidery Machine Withdrawals?

What a great idea to embroider on a rice bag cover. That's one I hadn't thought of.

I agree that the applique monsters are kinda cute. Beyond kids pajamas or pillow cases, I'm not sure where else I might use them. I'll keep thinking.... Cathy

I think they would be cute on a book bag or a child's summer top.

I think that I am going to do them on shirts for the twins, with a caption saying something about the monster showing up if nap-time is missed. Maybe, "No nap makes me Cranky!

I guess I will be putting one of them on the t-shirt I just had to cut from my machine due to a huge thread nest. LOL. They will be great fixers.

Hmmm! I think I get cranky without a nap too! I think I have started my second childhood already! I think It goes backward from 50. LOL In addition to the rice bag cover, I might have to do a tee shirt P.J. with something about Being a monester without caffiene! I just love these designs, they struck a cord with me for some reason.

That's the one. It has a nice hole I need to patch up. And I've already got a cute saying to put on it. My problem is my project list keeps getting longer, and my hours seem to be getting shorter.

Sorry about that, jstitch. It sounds like it's ready for an applique. I wish I could help you with the t-shirts. They really are easy to do especially after you get your first one done well. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Sadly, you are in Utah and I am in Winchester, VA. It's a little far to drive. Cathy

Hi all! I went on my first quilt shop hop yesterday with a friend. I couldn't believe it when the first shop had a line of fabrics that I would swear were made for the Monsters designs. It comes in a couple of color ways. I got the lime green polka dot (dots are slightly dark lime green) fabric covered with monsters like the ones in the applique. It has one-eyed pets too! So now I have the fabric for the rest of the Rice bag cover. It is so cute! With this fabric I might have to make a whole quilt! It comes in a bright orange back ground too. cordinates well with batik solids.

BTW: The fabric is "Spacebots by all wester for Clothworks. I got it from the Quilted Heart in Pullman WA.
