      Hello everyone

      My name is Maydean Grundstrom. I live in Sunnyvale California. For those that do not know where that is, it is about 45 miles south of San Francisco, and it is just north of San Jose.

      I have live all of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area.

      I hope that there are some others on this list that might be from this area. That would be great.

      Hi Everyone
      Thanks for the very nice welcome committee. This is summer correct? Well here where I live it was in the low 70's today. It is very nice for a change, but to tell you the truth I am not looking forward to September or October. That is whe we will get our heat wave.

      Welcome Maydean, OH wish we had some of your cooler weather, we just got done with a round of 16 days straight with temps in the mid 90's and not cooling off much at night. I too live on the East coast but hopefully someone will let you know they live close by. It is always so much fun to get together with someone who has the same interests as you do.

      Hi, Maydean! Welcome to our group. I've visited Monterey CA in the '80s. It was always beautiful there. I have a niece who moved from the east coast to San Francisco in December, 2007. She met her husband at Harvard Business School and he was from San Francisco. And that is where they decided to settle down. She just loves it there despite being a little homesick.       Hi Dreama
      I agree with you that the people here are just great. They are very helpful when anyone has a problem or needs a question answer. I just wish that there were more people on here in my area. It is fun to meet people face to face that you have common interest with. I will keep hoping that someday there might be some one on here from my area, but until that day I will just keep posting here.

      Wouldn't be great if we could meet people on this forum that live right where we do and be able to get togeather. I live in Chula vista, it is about 10 miles off the Baja California, Mexico boarder
