This design for this hour has not been been given as an hourly hunt or hourly free design within the past 24hours. It may have shown up previous to that.
I was wondering if the hourly design is repeating it self? It seems like I click on it and it said I down loaded some times the day before sometimes it is a little longer. My mom has Alzheimer and I am getting to doubt my self seeing the same thing which may or not be happening.

Sometimes they do rotate and repeat themselves or you may get a design from a set with the hunt and the freebie.
Thanks for your replies I just though I was going crazy. I know some of the designs I purchased but I really thought I was getting goofy when I saw the blue work pattern design again.

Another possiblity -- if you are saving a design file with an identical name to the same folder, then your computer may consider the new file to be a duplication.
For example, in the set, JN Rag Dolls 3, the designs are named:
15x7,
25x7,
35x7,
etc.
and in the set, JN Rag Dolls Western, the designs are named:
15x7,
25x7,
35x7,
etc.
Then, if the website offered "15x7" from the JN Rag Dolls set as an Hourly Free design, a person might have downloaded it to a folder "DBS" on her (or his) computer. Later, the website might have offered "15x7" from the JN Rag Dolls Western set as an Hourly Free design. If a person saved that design to the same folder on her computer, then her computer system will probably consider the design to be a duplication. That is, the computer may prompt something like, "15x7.pes already exists. Do you want to replace it?" even though the design files are completely different.
Of course, it depends upon whether you're using a PC or a Mac, the operating system, how the files and folders are named, their location, etc. The situation described above is just one example.
Hope this helps,
Susan
If you look under the hunt design or the hourly free design you will see a tab to view the past 24 - that will show you if it has been repeated recently.
If you are really worried about Alzheimer's (my mum is also suffering) the best thing to do is keep your brain as active as possible - doing the hunt - playing board games and card games - reading - socializing - and joining in the chatter in the forums!
(vitamin supplements might be a good move as well)
As far as I am aware, there is no good evidence that this is hereditary - I think 'senior moments' happen to all of us.
(My mum's short term memory is very sporadic - but she can tell you tales of her childhood as if it were yesterday!)
I find when I download a pattern that I want to keep, I then immediately put it in a folder that I have created for that particular set. That way even though the files may be listed the same way they are no being duplicated, and they are not over writing a legitimate file I want to keep. For example I have a set of files named animal, then under animal I have all the different ones Sick has given. If I download for example BW Kitties they go under animals , then under cats, then under BW Kitties. Makes finding them later a cinch.
