Hi Aneal, I am so busy with the renovations to the house that I don't get to do anything else! I need help - the withdrawal symptoms are so bad that I can't sleep at night anymore!
You can't do both at the same time I guess? Embroidering and renovating......would be nice
There's only one solution to withdrawal: start embroidering again. You won't have time to sort out all designs either I suppose otherwise you could have a look at what you have and make plans while sorting them out. I'm not much of a help, I know.....LOL

I have been trying to sort out the desings for the last 5 months and have now given that up as a bad job - I think I am more confused now as to what I have than I have been before! I have also decided today that I am going to resign from my current position as you-name-it-that's-what-I-am and become an embroiderer again. I am just not sure how long notice period I must give - I wonder whether 3 months would be sufficient or 3 weeks?
What about 3 hours?

Then I will have to do that in the morning, just before everybody leaves for work - I don't want the tantrums tonight! I am tired of being cabinetmaker, cook, cleaner, laundry girl, tiler, plasterer, bricklayer, painter, secretary, messenger, bird minder and a string of other things, including house sitter. I think I am going to settle for one job only, so resignation from the kitchen is a very definite!
Hi Sonia! Nice to have you here again!
And yes, I can relate to every single word!I'm happy I "outsorced" the cleaning job, and the kitchen ... I can hardly remember what it looks like there

. It's a pity you don't live next door, or I'd come over to do that cabinetmaking job with you (loved it at my house, but gave it up finally). To back out and spend a few hours with the embroidery machine is a good idea for sure. By the way, did you notice I finally got me a new machine?

Hi wienerin, good to be back for a short while! What machine did you get?
It seems that I have been missing a lot! I had a look at the Creative Vision 2 here in South Africa - were told that CV4 would not be brought in. I liked the size of the hoop, but one of the designs that interested me immensely, was the tiger design. It is a half tiger - did that come standard with your machine as well? I like your sewing room - I might have mine done in the next 2 months, hopefully I would have a sewing room before Christmas!
Yes, that half tiger came with my machine as well. And there is a whole set of these on myembroideries. However, they are horribly expensive...
The biggest hoop I got with the machine is 35x36cm! Absolutely fantastic! I already did a few designs with those large hoops (the second large is 36x20cm). I hope I'll find the time soon to take photos of what I did and put up a new album. Wait and see!
Goof night, friends! Since tomorrow would not be a good time to resign my current position, I have a long day ahead of me and need sleep desperately!
I have uploaded 2 new projects, a knitting bag that I made for my mom with sampler blocks and a rose bowl. What a relief it was to finally see something worthwhile (embroidery) after 5 months away from my machines!
Sonia I love the "Knitting Bag" it is absolutly Beautiful, your Mum will love it I am sure and your other things in your Album are gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing Ria
