Thanks, Ginny! I am quite happy with the way the lounge is coming along - it is slow work, but worth it.

Thanks Ria - my tail is wagging and my face is not big enough to hold my grin!
I have added photographs of a toilet roll holder I made - design from Stitch Delight.
Sonia, did I ever tell you that I simply love your stuff (and your birds) ?!?![]()
No, wienerin, I cannot remember you telling me that yesterday LOL - I need to hear that a lot! And my birds - that's a bargain! How are you?
sorry for not telling you so yesterday
except for the African heat we are suffering from these days and the most horrible thunderstorm I've ever experienced in my life last night (vast areas of Austria have officially been declared disaster area today) I'm pretty fine. Right now waiting for my office-computer to be re-setup after a nasty virus attack this morning. Can't tell you how glad I am to have a Mac at home (or - as now - as second/private computer at my desk -)!
You have some beautiful projects Sonia. Love the new tissue roll holder. Thanks for sharing your updated project.
wienerin, you can certainly send some of that heat this way - it is freezing here today! Thanks for the compliment, windstar!
Wow! What a fabulous cover. Very elegant, fancy and just simply beautiful! Thanks bunches for sharing your album with us.
Oh and in case I've never told you...I love your feathered friends, too. They're beautiful!
Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful photos with us, great work
Sonia, that toilet-roll container is fit for a Queen! You have made a really good job of it, and I can see it as holding cotton wool balls, or cosmetics, or shampoos, or any number of other things that are in need of a tidy home! (Guess who will be making several of these in the not too distant future!)
Thanks, watermelon! Friends my birds are definitely, naughty children even more so, especially tonight!
Ladies, I am overwhelmed with compliments. I made the toilet roll holder as I have several rolls standing around in my lounge - my birds sometimes forget where the toilet is!
I have been asked what machine I have and it is a Bernina Deco 340 - not a "big" machine. My biggest hoop is 280 x 200mm, then I have to split the design. My second biggest is 230 x 200mm, again I have to split the design and the standard hoop is 140 x 200mm.
The toilet roll holder is a design from Stitch Delight - SD522. The stitch count is fairly high, but worth it!
Love your projects and your birds are amazing. Do they take alot of work to take care of them?
Hi, Elaine. Yes, the birds are a lot of work, but well worth it, and from my point of view, a great prevention for heart attacks. My husband has a high stress-level job and the birds force him to calm down and get back to earth, hence my reference to prevention!
I am so excited and proud - I am on Embroidery Library's Stitchers Showcase with the lounge suite project! Yippeee!!!!!!!!!
Congrats Sonia! You should be proud of yourself, your lounge project is stunning![]()
