      Here's a couple of pillowcases I made for lady about to be married. They have french seems inside. :0)

      Thanks everyone. I know they are "simple," but I'm really please with how they turned out. They're made of Kona cotton, and wrinkle quite a bit, so I hope she doesn't mind. My mother taught me that people who appreciate quality material, appreciate the wrinkles that go with it! I hope the bride agrees!

      Those personalized pillow cases are lovely. They make such a beautiful wedding gift. I think french seams really finish the cases so nicely.

      French seams finish off a seam with no raw edges showing. Here's two tutorials I found. They are really quite easy, and add a wonderful finishing touch.

      You know what ... here in France we call them "English seams" !!!!! very useful and neet indeed !!!
