Bre,
Where in Florida are you? I'm in St. Petersburg. Are we close? St Pete is by Tampa and Clearwater. I 275 west side of Fl by the beach about half way down the west coast before you go over the Skyway Bridge to Sarasota. Disney is 60 miles east.

Teddy,
Can we mail them in when they are done or do we have to wait until October? All of mine are put together, I might do some embroidery on a few of them, however the material has a lot of print on them so you wouldn't notice the embroidery much. What address do I send them to?
Bre -
Just come here to Middle TN and join us on our hunt next month. That would be fun. The more the merrier. Can't you just see the bunch of us ladies descending on all these 12 quilt shops!
and we are not gonna talk about the fabrics I saw over the weekend!!!! I was in 7th heaven.

We'd love to have you bre. I found out today that the 12 shops are spread out all over middle TN. It will be a fun trip. We are up to three so far in our group. And I got a sneak peek at the blovks and the fabrics they are gonna use today. The lady at the shop was working on the quilt when I got there at lunch today.
There is this red fabric - looks almost like tapestry - solid deep red. Yes I fell in love with it - lol. This is part of the Thangles stuff - one of their BOM shop hops.
We figure the more that come the merrier it will be! Just imagine - an SUV full of quilt happy ladies running around the country side from quilt shop to quilt shop. Running into car loads of other quilt happy ladies in the process. Yep - gonna be fun!!!
I request that you hold off until mid-September please in case we have another joiner.
There will be an EARLY bird prize and it sounds like you might get it
I too am jealous! I wish I had someone to share/shop with! I am very glad that you do! So, if anyone lives near Charlotte, North Carolina I am 20 miles aways
Happy quilting to all. I have been a sewing fool this week! I made a full size autumm quilt top cutting to done and made a single bed quilt top in the past 3 days!!! Shall post pictures tonight if my pea brain can remember!

Teddy,
I will hold off sending them, however did you ever give us an address to send them to? I've been looking through this thread from the start of this swap and don't see one. I would appreciate it if you would give me an address. You can send it to
kmc46@hotmail.com
Thanks
Ok, my friend Reba has tried for days to get registered so I finally came over to help her. Now she is registered but waiting for her account to be activated. She has tried to post a reply to let you know that her username is nursereba and her email is rebahood@yahoo.com She wants to be included in the swap. Please add her to the list and she will post herself as soon as she can activate her account.
Thanks,
Naturechick and nursereba

He also thinks that he needs to sit on my lap when I sew!! LOL! Oh what fun! Joyce

I am requesting private messages for your e-mail addresses; from there I will post my name and home address. I prefer not to have our 'real' names, home addresses and other personal info on a public site. I'm sure everyone can understand that. Just takes one scare to want to be a bit leary.
Anyhow, when I get all the e-mail addy info I will post my stuff in a group e-mail.
I am so pleased with the response and the size of our group! Gonna be a fab quilt for all!
Joyce I'm glad you are at the place where you can sew again! This has been so very hard on you and your beloved family. Our prayers continue with you all.

Thanks everyone! I really wasn't prepared for the depression that set in about 3 wks after! I talked with a freind of mine that is also a nurse and she said she has seen it a lot. The caregiver crashes after the death of the one she is caring for. It wouldn't hurt for me toget some help to deal with it though. Joyce
Joyce the other thing about the "AFTER" depression is that you are surrounded to the point of being smoothered by friends, family, loved ones and then there is a time that they get on with their lives and you are left alone! That is when you experiance depression because now you have time to reflect and to think!
When Mom passed it was the same for us! All the family and friends went on with their lives leaving Dad and I alone! It was scary and sad! It's like you have to learn how to do things differently after so long of taking care of the loved one and the waiting for them to pass keeps you to busy to think.
There are good days and bad days. Days when you laugh and smile with the memories and days you can't stop crying. I do believe "time heals", that being said time is different for all of us. Prayer helps the very most though!!

Your right Teddy - after we lost my mom - sis went back on the road - my brothers went home and it was dad and me. We had to manage on our own. Sis came home every other weekend - but it was dad and me. We managed to cope - but it was rough. Mom died in September - so the holidays were the hardest. But we eventaully managed and got things under control.
IT probably wouldn't hurt to talk to someone Dolly - even for the kids too.
NAture chick and I finished out Quilt Shop hop this weekend. Man - they were out of the blocks in the last shop. They were out of the fabric to finish off the blocks. But they had many more responses to the shop hop then they expected. They even had a couple of gals on vacation from FL in it today. Isn't that so cool.
