Deborah, I can picture your horror at something Like that. I am so glad you got it out. NOW remember chocolate is for eating, not for changing the color on quilt blocks. A big hug to you for the trauma that must have caused (((((((((DEBORAH))))))))))

..which only goes to prove my theory--chocolate should be eaten immediately!!
I am glad the incident all worked out ok!.

I had the bar in the bag for 1-2 minutes but it sure did a number in that amount of time.

I quickly hand washed the blocks in dish soap, squished to water out and ironed them dry and they came out but my vocabulary took a serious nose dive for a few minutes!

Oh I am so glad the chocolate came out of the blocks, I probably would have had to lick the chocolate off the blocks and hope for the best for the blocks. They say the best chocolate is the stuff that is 70& cocoa but give me milk chocolate any day.

Now you have to check out my "chocolate" quilt thread. I personally only eat dark chocolate. Should have licked it off because it was a terrible waste to wash it right?!

Last September I had a chocolate bar melt in my fanny pack all over my brand new cell phone! I stood right in the middle of the street licking away. My family about died but I did not waste. gonna have to quit stashing chocolate and just eat it right away!

Yumm dark chocolate. But I'm not suppose to eat sugar stuff. But the sugar free dark chocolate isn't bad - but I still can't each much of that either.

diabetic chocolate is not bad, I buy that for one of my fellow RN's because she is a diabetic. When I did Easter gifts for all I didn't want to leave Sondra out.

teddy rn, That is quite a sory of licking your cell in the middle of the street. I hope the cell phone survived the licking. You have such cute stories about chocolate. By all means do eat that chocolate right away. Please do not leave any chocolate on your big toys during heat, would hate something to happen to them.

A good lesson to learn from your experience. Thanks for sharing. I used to do such kind of things in the past.

      Default chocolate

      Holy Smokes.
I am always putting chocolate or snacks in my craft project bags.
Never thought I would be putting all my work at risk.
Thanks for the warning, guess I shall implement the zip loc baggie rule for my craft bags...or maybe I should make a craft bag (typically I use a drawstring bag from a department store) and line a pocket on the outside with plastic just for my sweets : )

Then of course maybe another hidden one on the inside so the kids don't know to look there.

I can't imagine the "ut oh" moment when you realized your chocolate drooled on your work.
