      Default Death by chocolate!!! :(

I accidently lost my mind! I had a chocolate bar in the car and dropped it into a bag of quilt block that I had just finished. When I pulled the blocks out to work on the quilt top I about died!! They were covered with melted chocolate!! I had the bar in the bag for 1-2 minutes but it sure did a number in that amount of time.

I quickly hand washed the blocks in dish soap, squished to water out and ironed them dry and they came out but my vocabulary took a serious nose dive for a few minutes!

Oh Deborah, what a waste of a good chocolate bar! Glad your blocks were saved. Just got home from work and had to laugh at "vocabulary took a serious nose dive" Dreama

Oh, Deborah. What a mess those chocolate bars can cause. Which was worse--cleaning the quilt blocks or the language?

Deborah, Too bad about the chocolate bar. We'll forgive the language for this.

(sniffle) That poor, poor candy bar... maybe it didn't hear you before it... left.

Just kidding. Glad your quilt blocks weren't damaged ! You know we'll want to see the quilt once it's done, right ? You can call it your sweetest quilt ever !

Dorrie, dreaming of a *real* chocolate quilt....mmmmmm......

Thank you for the reminder. I have some chocolate bars in the cabinet. I think I will have one. Chocolate is a balanced diet as long as you have one in each hand.

You say 'death by chocolate' but maybe it's more like "eek...death to this chocolate.....take this AND this....bam, bam".....

You're so lucky you found the errant chocolate bar in time. Sometimes chocolate is difficult to get out if it sits on the fabric for a while.

"my vocabulary took a nosedive".....love the poetic metaphor!!!

Deborah - Thank goodness you could rescue and clean the quilt blocks. Sorry about the loss of a perfectly good chocolate bar. And I agree, the language can be foregiven this time! Cathy

Oh my gosh that could have been a disaster. Sew glad it all came out. I am a chocolate idiot but have gained a bit of weight this past winter so I am trying to behave and not eat any junk or chocolate. It is like someone punched me in the stomach to not have chocolate. I wish you had called me and I would have come and licked those squares really clean. LOL

      ROFLOL
But that has given me my giggle for this morning
It wouldnt have been funny if the blocks were ruined but I think when something turns out right ( with or without the voice overs LOL) that we can turn around and laugh after it.

Poor chocolate bar...what flavour was it

There are medical studies which prove that choclate and the flavonol in it, rise the productive efficiency of the brain.
(Annual Conference British Psychology Society, Brighton 2009)

So is there only the question to transporte chocolate safe

And since it raises productivity of the brain, we should all start with our favorite chocolate before work!!! Dreama
