Here's a link to a dutch new's site about a dutch horse.
Mom is 66 cm (about 26 inch) high and kid is 44 cm (about 18 inch) high. isn't this cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are precious! They look like my daughters webkins! It always amazes me that God makes things in so many shapes and sizes and always perfect in His eyes. thank you for sharing.

I wonder if the mom horse's legs are suppose to be that short when the rest of her body looks like it belongs to a 'normal' looking horse.

hihi yes they are suppose to be like that. these are shetland ponies they always look like that here's a link with more photo's of shetland ponies

That is so cute I could understand most of till they speak fast that I had trouble with as I dont speak Dutch any more, I used to a little bit when Mum was a life or should I say she used to t me and I would answer in English but now I don't at all,I should try it a bit.

They have been this way for over 300years, and are very strong and tough and able to survive severe conditions with sparse food. Traditionally they are from the isles in the North of Britain, but were probably brought there from Iceland by the Vikings.

These are gorgeous animals I love them!
my neighbours had one when we were small and yes they are strong and stubborn.Fiesty little things

But their cuteness makes up for it!

So the original photos you showed are shetland ponies? If so I thought so. Are they stubborn and fiesty as Annmarie says. They are gorgeous animals. We should have some as a realistic set of them on DBS. It is a nice size for your daugther to learn on. Thank You for sharing.
