Contest with no real prize?????

I only collect what looks fun or interesting. I don't download everything that's free. I don't like food,fruit or veggies with faces and I don't like unrealistic things.

I've decided not to count (I stopped when I went over 100 thousand in just PES format with lots more still to go), because it is just depressing that I am not stitching out more of them. I have been collecting since 2001, and digitizing since 2003, so I have . . . plenty!

It is a real addiction,just collecting machine embroideries. But it's like any collection , it gives us real pleasure, and no-one can deny us that.

My 20 year old son is coming home on leave this month. Yeah!! He is going to scream when he sees all the designs on my computer. At least I don't have to share my computer with him all the time now. He used to complain so much.
I started to count my designs, but decided since I started this contest, I would exclude myself on the reason that it would be self imcriminating.
Aren't we lucky that are computers and CDs, DVDs, USBs etc have so much storage capabilities than before. Imagine is our addictions were this bad 20+ years ago with windows '95 and only floppies to store on. I am so thrilled to have my own computer (Thank you Tim and Kathy for making it possible) No one but my hard drive can tell me how much I can collect now.

I cant begin to count the designs, Ive only been collecting since February but the CD's are amounting up

Lets just say we all win in or own little way

I too only download what I like and what I think I MIGHT use. But as I ME Im glad I do download them as you can never have too much when your trying to find the right one!!

when I started reading this thread all i could do was laugh. I started collecting designs in 1997 .I didn't even have a machine until 2001.Now you know I am obsessed.I bought magazines and read as much as I could online and started buying for when I would get my machine.So I know I can't even begin to count all the floppy disks ,mini cd's , cds , flash drives and now large external drive. I humbly bow my head to the queen of embroidery designs collections, because I know she is one among us. I may have a lot but i know she has more than me.....Whoever she is!!!!!Hail to the Queen.

Hey everyone. I only started this thread to make myself feel better about all the tens of thousands of designs I have collected and will never use. It's been fun reading about how many of us do the same. This has been too funny.
Still have way too many designs and keep collecting. We are so lucky computers have so much storage options now.

About a week ago I met a lady who does ME and quilts (first REAL person I have met) and we started laughing because I bought a tons of designs because I accidently found DBS!! She was stunned over how many designs I had purchased because I did not know you could get them for free! Live and learn! I still have thousands of designs but I ain't countin' nothing either! RAther sew.
