Jenne, I have a question. At what part of the construction did you do your embroidery? Before cutting out, the piece after cutting out, or after assembly? I want to do a summer top for myself and am not sure what order I should do it in.

that is absolutely beautiful. One of these days I want to make something like that for myself. I am just too scared to venture out and do it...lol I have all of the equipment to do it, just need the courage to get started.

You did a great job with having no pattern. You can't tell that you didn't use one. It's really nice.

If possibly I always do my embroidery before I construct the garment, because you can then get it more even , get where you want it ,and it is easier to get it in the frame.

Jenne, you did such a beautiful job! It looks to lovely for a nightgown. Maybe a gown to wear around before bed. Your embroidery looks wonderful. You picked the perfect design and I love your straps. Let me just say that I love all of it! Great Job!!

Thanks, Jenne. That's what I thought I would do, just wanted to know if anyone had any other experience. I did it that way when I did the bodice of my American Girl Valentine's Day dress and it worked beautifully, but I've also done a few ready-made things . . . Again, thanks for the heads up.
