      Cool Hospital Gown

Ok My little girl is going in for a heart cath later this month. I hate hate hate the hospital gowns they have for kids there, especially the toddler ones. The material is itchy and they don't accommodate IVs, montors and things like that.

Me being who I am found a solution, Make her one myself that I do aprove of.

She looks so happy in her cute little hospital gown. I will be praying for a successful outcome for the procedure and a very speedy recovery. She's a little doll!

That is a great idea Deshale, she will be more comfortable in it. I hate all hospital gowns too. You should make some bigger ones also for adults that are regularly going into hopsital....You could be onto a Winner for yourself..your so talented great job.
Hope all goes well for your little girl with the heart cath

your idea is great, I had a heart attack 2 years ago and my clothes were a pain .I think you should make adult ones , and if you can sell them at the hospital , I would have loved to be able to buy stuff at the hospital as my poor hubbie was so stressed he had trouble coping with bringing me stuff up then that made him even more stressed. If we could have bought stuff it would have been a lot better all round , when things happen no one can think straight you need to make it easy for them

Hi, I love the little gown. As an RN I know how yukky those gowns are for little ones! The are too short, too long or just plain too something! I will pray for your little one and for the staff as they take excellent care of her.

So sorry to hear about the daughter having troubles. The gown is wonderful. As someone who has just had several hospital stints, too, I wonder if she would feel more comfortable as I did if you added a pair of underpants and/or bloomers to the ensemble. With some procedures, you can't wear undies, but it always makes me feel much more comfortable and a little girl might feel that way, too. Just a thought! We'll keep you both in our prayers.

I'm sorry your daughter needs a heart cath. I hope she does real well. But you sure are a special mom to make her that gown.

Thanks y'all, I really appreciate the prayers and well wishes for Stephanie. The heart cath is only to check function on her heart and test her pulmonary hypertension. We have to get one about once a year.
