      any ideas on whether using cutaway stabilizer would
      work better than tearaway ?

      while out yesterday, I noticed some of these are
      more of a waxy paper stuff. I will be looking now
      everywhere for these bags to see which ones are better.
      It might be that smaller stores are more money but
      have much smaller generic logo.

      any ideas on which bag material is going to hold up
      better?

      Sorry I don't know which ones will hold up better. The reason I liked the Joann's bags was because the logo was small enough that a 5x7 patch would cover it and also it is larger than most others. A lot of the stores around here are selling these but most have a large logo that would be difficult to cover.

      I have always made my own bags & embroidered them before sewing them together. Your idea sounds good if you need a whole heap of goodie bags for a function. Thank you for the idea.
