Great idea! I'll set up more threads, and I'll post recipes. Give me time, please.
Cutiepie set up the forum. Thank you, Cutiepie!
Back to work for me for a bit.

Post a message here for a recipe you need.
Then if someone posting the recipe could post
it in one of the organized threads, please.
Quiltersblock has setup some. More to follow. Otherwise over time we won't be able to find a recipe in a hurry.

Smile; it increases your face value and it makes people wonder what you've been up to.

I would like crock pot recipes.
So far I have a BEEF STEW and a POT ROAST recipe that work for me.
I would like something for chicken , and would also love
to see alot of crock pot soup recipes (without bones)
and could be meatless soups.
Just I want to use my crock pot more.

Don't worry about it at the moment...only when you have
time. I am not going to be attempting anything new this week.
But whoever is reading this. You can post recipes also. We can't
leave it all up to Quiltersblock, and I'm sure she would not mind
seeing some new recipes to try herself and add to her collection.

I want the old recipe for the poke cake where you used the jello pudding to pour over the cake instead of the gelatin.

I would like the recipe for "monkey bread".
it is a fast cheating way to make cinnamon rolls.
I think you use frozen bread or Pillsbury rolls or something.

Ok, I will wait.
I found a frozen version for a big family breakfast I did. It is great for when quests are still doing morning coffee and waiting for brunch.
It worked in a pinch but the home made one is much more flavorful.
Get 2 cans of biscuit dough. Cut each biscuit into fours and shake in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon, then put in your pan by layers then melt a quarter cup butter/margarine and drizzle over the layer then sprinkle some of the sugar cinnamon mixture over your layers. Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes til it rise and turns brown.
1/2 c sugar 2 TBSP cinnamon
if this is not enough sugar/cinn mix you can make more.
Icing.....1 1/2 c confectioners sugar 2TBSP Milk mix and pour over warm bread
I prefer to use the flavored coffee creamers instead of plain milk

I would love a recipe for struedel (sp?). I have one for cheese braid, but it takes 2 days. The dough has to sit in the refrigerator overnight. TIA

For the monkey bread - to spice it up a bit - add a hint of nutmeg and some chopped pecans. I like to use "butter" biscuits as well - the biscuit that have the butter flavor in them (Grands has some of these) - I think they come out a lot moister that way.
Another Idea for the Monkey bread. My daughter took a foods class in high school. They used 2 cans of biscuit dough butterscotch and carmel ice cream topping and nuts of you choice. They cut the each biscuit into 4 pieces and layered them into a bundt pan with the topping and nut between each layer. It was very good.
you can use frozen rolls cut them up and use the recipes from here just layer them and let them rise to the top of a bundt pan
I posted this request in the wrong place before. I try to keep up with new threads but don't do as good as I want to . Just found this one. Does anyone have a recipe for dandelion jelly? I know it uses the blossoms somehow but know nothing more than that (except remembering how WONDERFUL it tasted) If anyone can help it would be so appreciated. The dandelions should be coming out soon.
