Being June to get your garden going will you have longer season for things to grow. Usually we can go to about sept or october with a lot the veggies and herbs.

I am doing hair for the big event today and when I'm done I can't wait to get in the yard and do some planting with the grands.

I have finally gotten my daughter and her two friends off to the prom...YEA. I wonder what all I missed around here for the last few hours.

Right now I'm going to re-set my machine to sewing again, enough embroidery done the last weeks. Now I will go on working on my Garden Stars Quilt again.
These are a few of the designs I stitched out the last days:

This is the Eiffel Tower design I was talking about the other day: Click image for larger version.

Next day I found another Paris motif on my hard drive and had to do it too: Click image for larger version.

And I found a wonderful Iris Alphabet in my hard drive archives as well. With the first stitchout I tried to match the original colours of the design: Click image for larger version.

Nice doings. I like your choice of colors better. The eiffel tower is just grand. Working on your quilt is a good way to stay out of trouble.

      Thank you, Molly!

The "blue" Eiffel Tower is from Embroidery Library. The other designs were some free designs ... if only I could remember where I got them from! Their quality is awesome. There are many designs I have bought which are of poorer quality then those I got free some day.

Your last two look like they might have come from needlework.ru website if that helps. They have the full iris alphabet.

I had a involuntary shower of ice cold water, when I tried to put up the automatic watering of my garden (one of the tubes broke...), so in order not to catch a cold I crawled under my blanket and am watching a documentary about Swedish brown bears right now. I captured a few pics of a mother bear with three cubs I have to share with you:

Such cuties. Looking at their big eyes you could love them ...til you meet them in person I guess.

      Shari, they are adorable!

I spent my Sunday with friends eating lunch at an old lodge - fried chicken, dumplins, mashed potatoes & gravey, corn, green beans, slaw, and cornbread. It was served family style - all you can eat! OH, I ate too much.

The we went to her daughter to help her plant some summer flowers and finished with a trip to Dairy Queen for ice cream. Great day, but OH, I ate too much.

Just a nice lazy Spring day!

I really love those bears. I want to hug them - lol. they look so soft and comfy.

pbrey - that meal sounds delish. I've been sitting here trying to figure out whaqt I wanted to eat and now you've gone and made me hungry for that good food. HMMM a bit late to start cooking it though.

Today I managed to get absolutely nothing done in the house, out side a few things, dealt with some personal matters took care of them. Since then done nothing, didn't sleep well last night, I mean I didn't sleep well not until after 2:30 a.m. Finally slept. Shari

I spent the big part of the day shopping. I normally love shopping, but today there were too many things on my list that I had to get, and I didn't feel very well (cramps--Ugh!!! Won't miss that).

I have three grandchildren with birthdays within three weeks. Two are siblings and are coming Wednesday to celebrate with grandma, so of course I have to have something for them!!

Also, lots of things on my list to get for my still sick husband. Still don't know what's wrong, and it looks like he's taking a turn for the worse again.

But I did get placemats so I can do some embroidery on a casserole cover as a bridal shower gift this week. I want to get this done either tomorrow or Thursday. Tonight I'm going to watch the Utah Jazz get beat out of the playoffs. Have a great evening all!
