Yes extremely lucky and I no it too. I won't share him either. He is a wonderful man. My a girl friend decided one day that she would sit oh his lap, he stood up and she went on the floor. Boy was she mad. I was so proud of him. He won't cheat on me. She thought she would try to make me jealous by flirting with him. Our friendship ended, my husband said she left me with no choice. LOL... Shari

Weather is wonderful today so after sewing I went shopping for herb and vegetable plants. Bought a new grapevine and raspberry bush. Bought some seeds to pot and got my youngest GS some new gardening tools. I am ready for planting and summer growing.

I haven't even begun to shop for my seeds. That will have to come later. I want to put in lots and lots of onions this year. I think some lettuce as well, beets, cucumbers too. Shari

We are still several weeks (okay, a month at least) away from planting anything.

I have a fleece blanket that I want to embroider embossed lettering (4 letters) from DBS. The overall design is quite large so will require my mega hoop. I am a little apprehensive over the size of the design and because the total stitch count is over 50,000. Wish me luck.

I finally got to see my niece (a beautician). She cut and styled my hair and did my eyebrows. Before going I stopped at the bank. The teller and I were discussing my visit to get my hair fixed. My five yr old grandaughter spoke up and said "It's about time!"

Guess I waited to long this time. Tomorrow I have 2 kids all day (5 and 4) so no sewing for me. Saturday I am going to the quilt show in Paducah, KY. Maybe Sunday I can sew! I HOPE!

I was not able to finish my daughter's bathtowel that night last week, I had to give it to her with raw seams

(it was made from material sold by the metre, because she wished to have a really large bathtowel - this one is 170x135 now). She did not mind; I hemmed the edges on Easter Sunday at noon, and in the afternoon she was already using it.

The wing motif is placed on all 4 corners, the plate only in the middle of the upper edge.
