I finally got around to starting my album here....yea me..and I am getting some more projects done in between checking in here.

Hi. I'm sitting here reading through the posts when I should be clearning house, doing laundry, etc. It's a beautiful day here in Texas. The sun is shining, it's about 70 degrees outside and the bluebonnets are blooming all around.

Ditto! lol, I have been doing the exact same thing! I was determined to get some sewing done, so I finished the arms and legs on an Annie I'm making in between checking in here. I'm making some bookmarks for the swap. It was grey and rather cold here today. I hope the weather will be better tomorrow!

I WAS making bookmarks. The bobbin thread got stuck, almost near the end of the bookmark, the WSS ripped, I had to take apart the bobbin area and now I can throw away the bookmark grrrrrrrr. Will go to sleep and try again tomorrow!

We took in a movie matinee and ate loads of popcorn (no butter), have only got 1 load of laundry done, and made a trip to ShopKo. Now it's time to start thinking about what's for dinner, check SiCK's freebies, and...

I spent the day running errands and doing yard work and gardening. It was nice and warm here today - I even got a bit of sun. But now it's getting dark and the temperature had dropped. I've shut my windows and turned the heat back on already. Got to love TN in the spring!

Well.......
we had a new grandaughter born yesterday. 6 lbs/18.5".. curly black hair and she has dimples.... lol...she is named Zoe and of course i think she is the most beautiful baby ever! lol...

i got to babysit today while my d/law caught up on some rest... then downloaded some more baby things. i am so excited. our last baby (a boy) was 10 years ago, so it's been quite a while since i got to make anything cute...

I finished my taxes! now all i have to do is take them to the bkkpr Monday after i get off work. Hurray! I HATE to do them. we have to itemize as we have a small olive grove (only 10 acres) and it is a real pain in the patootie to add all that stuff up. but if i give it to the cpa to do.... its 175/per hour... and that is just not gonna happen... lol...

so tomorrow, i am gonna sew, sew, sew! no more guilty feelings cause the house is a mess, the laundry is not done, and the dishwasher is full of dirty dishes... lol... i deserve some fun time... and i am going to take full advantage of it. hubby even says its o.k. and that was a complete shock to the system...lol... thank God he has learned how to turn on the washing machine... lol....

Congratulations....If you haven't been to sew forum lately there is a design of the name Zoe for download if you want to go get it.

I have been doing absolutely NOTHING all day! Spen thr day with my daughter looking for a house to rent. She did all the driving, so all I had to do was ride. Felt good to do nothing, but I couldn't stand to do in more than once.

Congrats on the new addition to the family.
I had a hurling match this morning and I play in goal! Near the end of the second half I went for a ball, got a bad tackle and player landed on my head. We wear helmets, and because of the helmet I got a minor concussion due to it pressing on my head too much.Our physio told me that I would have been fine without helmet LOL.
I am now sitting in front of the fire for the afternoon, no sewing or ME today
