1. could you digitize fonts that were already installed on your computer?
2. how did you load them to your digitizing program then?
I have been looking for THE good way to import new free font from DAFONT for example ... so that I can digitize them.
The BEST I could was to import them in Windows files "font" .... but after this, I thought (I'm always very naïve Rebekah ...) I would be able get them through "Word" soft.
It did not work. My personnal wizard (DH) is not Vista at all and cannot help me !
Have you any clues ?![]()

I have vista 64 bit. What I do with the fonts that I have downloaded is to put them into a folder. When I want to use them I click on the font to open it up. I then can see what the font looks like. I then open my 4D program and turn it into an embroidery. There is no need to install all the fonts that you someday may want to use.
I'm very "dumb" Elaine, I've tried probably the wrong way without success ! What I wish is to find the downloaded in WORD so that I can write what I wish and then copy/paste in 4D ....
Sorry !
i tried vist and quickly went back to windows tere are way to many problems with it you might find that it would work if you also have windows some where good luck
