If enjoying embroidery is an addiction, then I admit I can't get enough. If I'm not sewing, I'm trolling the many sites looking at embroidery, downloading freebies, and if I'm watching t.v., I embroider by hand. I enjoy it, and always will!

Welcome to DBS. You seem to be aware that you have already been bitten by the addiction bug. This is the site to come to when you need to fuel your addiction. We are here to enable you.
Until I got my machine - I've always embroidered by hand and I love doing that. Making samplers and such. Now - the small designs go by so quickly - but I still do a lot by hand. There is something comforting about hand embroidery. some of is so delicate compared to machine embroidery too.
Yes, me too..I have it bad..All I could think of at the school today, I sub, was what I was missing on this site and in the sewing room. I have it bad..When I got home I was too tired to even think and still I had to run the embroidery machine and check my email and this site...I just couldn't help it...I AM NOT SORRY..LOL

Welcome muzicdiva777! That's great that you still embroider by hand. But you will love this site and machine emboidery. The results can be spectacular and the speed with which you can embroider makes it so worth it! I usually save hand work when traveling in the car. If my husbnd is driving, hand work keeps me alert! Have fun here! Cathy
You are not alone! Isn't it great though that there is a site like this where everyone else is in the same boat? kt3234(Karen)
Count me in; I'm addicted too![]()
It didn't take me long to get addicted. I take my laptop everywhere now! LOL. S Robins, I sub too. It's the one place I can't take my computer. Oh well, it helps me be able to afford the hard goods to stitch to my heart's content.
It has been years since I have done embroidery by hand. I remember doing quite a few pillow cases.
If this is addiction, let me have more of it!

My projects:http://deb.design.angelfire.com/
I know exactly what you are saying !! Its been a longgg winter here in Ohio and I have filled a LOT of hours with embroidery ! Some days I will admit I should spend less time on the net looking for projects and more time completing the ones I have started or want to start ! what do they call those ?? UFO (unfinished objects) I have my share ! lol

There is always, always something to be thankful for.
Ohio .. winter ... go hand in hand. UGH .. March 13 and it's COLD outside, what gives. I have crocus blooming ... stupid groundhog !!
I keep reading about the long cold winter over there Mrs Buckeye & Angicrafter. We've had the opposite here down under. It has been a long hot summer & the only thing to do is stay inside with the airconditioner & machine embroider
It's weird weather here too ( southeast Texas ). It was warm and nice spring time weather last week. Then, it got cold and rainy. It's still very chilly & wet. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow.
We are suppose to get our warm up here in NW La. today. Suppose to get up to 78* today.
Molly
Now that autumn is here down under we seem to be have really nice days & the nights are cooling down a little too.some rain wouldn't go astray though.
