Tommy and Danny look as tho they are angels that could manage a fair bit of mischief on the side!
As for games for Liam's birthday party - how about having a 'treasure hunt' for the tools before you play the 'throw into the tool box' game?
Also, something that wouldn't need any preparation - they could each take turns to mime either using a tool or being a tool, and the others have to guess what? (for the younger ones you could list some choices to pick from if deciding which is too difficult.)
What ever you do, have a fun time - the little ones surely will

I can't think of anything you need to add. You seem to have enough for them to do. By the time you space the events out that should be long enough for them to have a great time without it being too long to grate your nerve.
Ginny.... we need to hear from you.
      Watermelon..you are missed.
      Tracy...where are you.

Thanks for the update and your picture of your adorable twins. I agree with Sonia - just have fun with the party because the memories made will last a lifetime. Hahaha you already thought of my only idea - hit the nail with the hammer. The kids are going to have a great time.

Cutiepie they are such cute little boys. Have fun with the party I have one small suggestion a pinata for them to smack around it so much to watch try to brake it open in one hit.

Cutiepie, thanks for the picture of the twins. How cute!! My idea would have been the pin the tail, or in this case, pound the hammer . Sounds like a great party! Hope you'll post pics of that too. Have fun, and remember, they're only 5--they'll love anything you do!!!

Cutie Pie, your twins are adorable. Wish you had included a picture of Liam also. Have fun with the party. You'll never regret having it. Make sure to take plenty of pictures and video.

I just realized that it has been a very long time since I have updated everyone on how the twins are doing. Since it is Liam's 5th birthday this week, how about a new pic of the twins? Tommy is wearing the red plaid and Danny is wearing the blue.

They are both very smart little guys, and in to everything. I can't keep them away from the DVD player and they believe that they are plenty old enough to put in their own DVD to watch. Fingerprints all over the disks! Tommy loves "Thomas the Tank Engine" and Disney's "Cars" while Danny likes "Shawn the Sheep" (referred to as Shawnsheep) and Disney channel's "Handy Manny," like his big brother.

Liam's birthday party this Saturday is Handy Manny themed. Anyone have any ideas for party games (for 5-year olds) that are handyman-based? So far, we are going to have a "Hop up, jump in" tool toss ("Hop up, Jump in" is the song that the tools sing on the show) where they will try to throw a variety of (non-sharp) tools into my tool box. There will also be a game where they will do a relay race to remove screws from a board.

I'm considering the game where everyone gets a balloon tied to their ankle and then try to pop everyone else's balloon (by stepping on it) and the last one with a balloon is the winner, but that has nothing to do with the theme. If all else fails, I will have them all sit down to watch the newest Handy Manny DVD (one of Liam's birthday presents) with a huge bowl of popcorn. Maybe a good game could be a take on "pin the tail on the Donkey" only with paper hammers to "hit" on a nail drawn on a poster? What do you think? I really need some good ideas!

I think I am probably insane to be inviting 6 little kids to our house for a party, even though there will be at least three adults there (myself, my husband and my friend Chelsea). Pray for me and my sanity!
WOWWWWWW, how they are changed! They look great!

Cutie Pie the boys look wonderfully happy and full of mischief. Just as little boys should! I hope the party went well.

Now Phillipa - tht idea about getting the garden dug - that sounded real clever to me!!!! But I get the feeling it cameback to haunt you with the soccer team - lol. Paybacks girl - paybacks!
