First Place Dining Set
Congrats Teddy m
First, I would like to thank everyone who participated in this month's event. In my mind you are all winners.
I also have a great thought that came to me. How about, the winning entrant adding instructions on how to make their project. If a pattern is used then what pattern....
For this month's winners if you have instructions for your winning projects please post them here with pictures added with that post if not do not worry this is a new concept so we can apply this from now on.
Okay here are the results for February.
1st Place goes to Teddy M-Deborah Dining Set
2nd Place goes to Wiharubh-Helen Valentine Cards
3rd Place goes to Winarubh-Helen Bib with Cows
I am posting each winning entree separate.

Valentine Cards
design - RW Valentine Hearts
Hoop heavy cutaway stabilizer. Spray back of heavy cardstock with temporary adhesive and stick to stabilizer. Embroider design with color of your choice. I used red on some and hot pink on others. After embroidered unhoop. Cut stabilizer away from around design. Cut cardstock to size to fit your card. (Or you can do this before you embroider the design. I make my embroidered card stock about 1/8 to 1/4 inch smaller than my card. Glue on to front of card using glue of your choice. I used a sticky tape runner. Be sure you sign the back of your card with your name!
Bib
design - Valentine's For You
I embroidered my design on my fabric before I cut out my bib. I used a cotton/polyester fabic for the front and a white flannel on the back. I first embroidered a solid heart out of pink. I didn't think it looked like enough, so I went looking through SICK for another design I could incorporate with it. Used the cow and used letters off my embroidery machine to do the words. I wish now I had put Peyton next to Moo. Maybe another time. After finished with the embroidery I cut out my bib using an old bib pattern I had from when my kids were babies. You could use any bib pattern. I just followed the instructions and added the rick-rack before I sewed the front and back together. I used folded bias tape to go around the neck and make the ties. I usually make the ties about 18 inches long each. It is really quite simple.
Hope these instructions help.

Sorry, I didn't include that. It looks like a pillow ticking fabric, but it was a lot thinner. And it was a polyester/cotton. I used a white flannel on the back. I will add this to my instructions. Thanks for catching that.
Hey my favourite design change places, but they are under the first three- Congratulation Helen and Deborah!![]()
Thank you Helen for the instructions. Deborah if you have patterns or instructions for your winning project please post for all to enjoy.

Congratulations to the winners.
Ginny
Congratulations to all the winners. May I make a suggestion.....If you are going to submit something for a contest don't post your pictures on the forum prior to the contest. Patty's doll clothes had been posted and I saw them under the projects and I felt I would have been biased to vote for them.
Molly
I agree with that Molly. I kind of decided to do the contest after I already had the pictures posted and felt they were suitable for the contest. I definately would do it different next time. But I feel very good about the outcome and am happy for everyone who participated and voted.
They were very suitable and came out wonderful. They were my first choice but felt like I would have been cheating cause I saw them before.
Molly
Congratulations to Everyone! You're all winners in my book. A special shout out to the declared winners.
