Banning is almost to Palm Spring, and Riverside is on the other side of me. I'm living in a place called Poppet Flats, up in the mountains, where we get the snow and the seasons change but it's close to the city too. I just love to set in my work room and embroider and get free designs! I sew on towels for my friends and gave them as gifts. I love this site, and i come here everyday just to see whats on each day.

We used to live at NAF El Centro - I loved it there! We didn't get any of that white stuff and summer days were unbelievably hot, but the California desert is gorgeous!

Welcome Shirley. I'm from the Palouse area of Washington (the state)--a fertile farm area of two states and two land grant universities . As you collect designs and make contributions to the forums, the points collected in the process to "purchase" design sets will be a welcomed perk. Many of us are addicted to this site, if you haven't already noticed.

I was in Palm Springs many many years ago--in the 80's....I was really impressed with it...but I was more then thankful then I flew out LAX just hours before the earthquake struck.

I live in Chula Vista, California, just north of the Baja California Mexico Boarder, I love being in my sewing room and only do stuff I want to do for me and friends. It is so much fun.
