is there a way to see the set i am downloading before the download?

Of course! All you have to do to see all the designs in a set is to click on the image shown on the main pages or member download pages. This will open the page that displays stitchouts of the designs. Or, if you have chosen "list all" you will click on the set name to get to the same page.

You won't want to try and download from the set page, since there isn't an option there for member downloads, but at least you will know what everything will look like prior to downloading. I hope I made sense here.
