Cheryl I am sorry that this has happened and I hope the new technique brings you the best news it possibly can to make a frightening time a lot easier
I was just sitting here at the computer just feeling shattered. Just spoken to my sister and hear the news that my bother in law has had a very aggressive, invasive melenoma removed from behind his ear. There does not seem to be anything that they can do except surgically remove it. They are going to use a new technique in the nuclear medicine department, one so new that it has nnot been approved by our Medical council to determine the depth and extent before the surgery. We just have to pray for a miricle that they will find that it has not spread too far. I would like to ask my cyber friends to join me in prayer for good results. His name is Peter and my sister is Avery. Yours in cyberspace Cheyrl

Cheryl, I understand hopeless feelings, as my husband has been suffering for a year with an undiagnosed illness. It has taught us to be compassionate for all who suffer. You are definitely in our prayers.
My brother was diagnosed with cancer and 1 1/2 ago and has done well. So far so good. I understand how you feel. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Keep your spirits up.
So sorry to hear this news.I will be praying for you all. God bless you in this trying time.
Hi Cheryl, really sorry to hear this if there's anything I can do please drop me a line - Cape Town isn't THAT far from PE. Remember you are in our thoughts, you, your sister and brotherinlaw will be raised in prayer. Hugs Wookie
Cheryl we all share you concern for BIL .i will pray for him and for the rest of you to be able to support him and the family through all that is to come. My daughter has an unknown growth on her neck and we are going to the doctor tomorrow to discuss the results of the biopsy and what our options are. This is a scarey time indeed.
Sorry to hear about ur bad news

I will let you know closer to the time and maybe we could meet for tea somewhere? It will be nice to talk to a fellow"addict" about the machine embroidery! Sincerely Cheryl
Cheryl, I am so sorry. Brenda in MI
I will lift Peter & Avery along with his loved ones in prayer. We know God is in control and we can only get our strength through Him during these difficult times. We also need to pray to be able to except His will whatever it may be, even though it is not easy to do. Keep the faith and trust in the Lord.
I hope the new procedure works well. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I will pray for your family. When you pray just have faith and do not worry afterward because to worry is to say you don't have faith. I hope with all my heart that things will work out for the good.

Hi to all the cyber friends, Thank you all so much for all the good wishes and prayers. We have really been blessed with alll the good feelings being sent out. Peter went to theatre yesterday for about 3 plus hours. They have excised a deeply around the melenoma and removed two lymph glands. They apparently blocked around the tumor with radioactive isotopes ( In the Department of Necleur Medicine) and then followed the demarcation that it gave to do the removal. The results of the tests will not be available until sometime next week but he and my sister a trying to be so positive and we really believe in the power of all the prayers that are going up for them. Thank you all so much. Idont think that you realise just how special it is to me knowing that ohters do care. I lost my husband eighteen months ago with cancer that he had been fighting since 2001 so it was a bit daunting facing this again in my brother in law. God is a Great Comforter and time passing does make the hurt less intense and prayer is very powerful. Thank you Cheryl
Well glad to be here in the time of need - and it appears there is hope by the sounds of it - we will keep your brother in law in our prayers and thoughts -
