Thanks for the great sites too. I knew of some of them but a few were new to me. Again, thanks!
Cool information going to check it out a.s.a.p. Siobhan
Thanks for the great sites too. I knew of some of them but a few were new to me. Again, thanks!
My machine is working away on some of these downloads. Have to test stitch them first of course. Thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it.
I don't blame you stick to your word, no one will argue with ya. LOL....LOL.. Siobhan
I sometimes do the stitchout, then if I like it I carefully trip around it and use it as a patch on something else. Waste not, want not - my grandmother used to say!
That is so true, there was a time I would wish I had not tossed something out. Now I am careful what I toss out. Even small pieces can make patches. Shari
I am working right now with my Pfaff and making some place mat's a strip purse. It's going to take some time to make I know but that is ok I don't mind. When I am ready to put it together I intend to add a name to it.LOL like strips. It will be fun and really pretty to look at too. I am hoping I will be able to sell them. Shari
Siobhan, no doubt this purse will be beautiful and yu will sell them. I have got to get myself together and finish something . I am feeling good about my daughter's room so maybe it will push me over the hump and get me creating . I have an idea for the window curtain so wish me luck that I can be as productive as you are.
You can't do it. I know you can. All you have to do is imagine it in your mind and set it in your mind to do. And you can do it. It's like the idea I got putting together pieces of material to make a great big piece. It came out better then I dreamed. So you can do it. I know you can. Good Luck. Shari
I just read something funny.
If I sew fast enough, does it count as aerobic exercise?

My sewing room is filling up as well. I am always sewing it seems. I do make things too. Right now it is just learning a new machine so scrapes are a welcome sight. LOL... Siobhan
It's an addiction you can't get past. I don't know why. Embroidery designs are magical. Siobhan
What happens is the design comes alive when you put it on something. A shirt comes a live with each design, it's magical. The form before your very eyes, that is the addiction. Siobhan
Magical! That is the best way to describe this addiction we have for embroidery designs. Magical! Downloading designs must cause a release of endorphins that gives that tingling feeling.
123mccoach - I'm in the same boat. My sewing room keeps filling up and my husband also does not understand why I keep buying more. There is so much out there new that just tempts me. And I love your phrase, "I waste not but I (still) want more!" That is very apporpriate for so many of us! Cathy
