what are you trying to get it to do? i don't use embird but most of the digitizing programs will save in several different formats then the software for your ultimate box should be able to take that format and save for your machine. (i use a magic box to make the files for my brother and the software does the work.) the digitizer i use saves in .dst format only and the box software can read it and many other formats so i'm ok. there are several software pakages out there that will convert from one format to another and maybe to something your ultimate box can use.

when I try to download something my machines will not read the download.

many places have downloads in .pes format. if you do not have a brother machine or one of the others that reads .pes you won't be able to read the file. what type of machine do you have?
