Just imagine how elegant the Queen Mary would be with all the embelishments we can embroider once we are on board! No life jacket would be left unembroidered! LOL

How do you embroider a life jacket?

This would be one cruise where there would be no reason to schedule expensive site-seeing trips in every port. Just point us in the direction of each fabric, quilt and craft store. Embroidering a life jacket could be one of the on-board seminars.

I know what you mean. I take more time organizing my designs then I do cleaning( whatever that is). Have to have two machines up and use both at the same time. I also can't go to the fabric store without buying for the future. As for this site omg. I think my electric bill has doubled recently. i have it too!!!!!

I'm afraid that I am fast getting there. I've only been machine embroidering for about 3 months and it's beginning to take over my life.

Well, I too have 2 machines up and running... One for sewing and one for embroidery!! (In the living room so I can spend time with hubby... and my laptop is right where I can keep an eye on it, lest I might miss something! LOL) I go to the fabric/craft stores sometimes every day, just in case I missed something the day before ... And thread??? My husband finds it in the food on occasion, and I don't even cook!!!! He is threatening to move me outside when the weather breaks, And my 4 dressers, 3 extra large totes and 3 thread racks. (sigh) At least he'll let my 10 year old puppy dog come too...

I thought I was in heaven this p.m...I was alerted by another forum member here that the local quilt store had received the 30-year-old left over inventory from a closed fabric store!!! The fabric has been stored in a dark, dry room all these years so is very clean and looks like new. I understand that more will be coming. HOORAY!! Old-new fabric to touch.....sew.....feel........ Addiction???? What addiction....?

We were just reminiscing of when we had taken one of our kids to Pullman to go to school. The problems we had with our motor home on the return trip. I do not like that drive. I am glad she is not there any longer.

      Default Oed

Add me to the list of OED sufferers. I am actually following Dr's orders. He said it is good to occupy my mind with my design hunting and retrieving.

      I am OED and proud.

      Talking I Confess

I definately have OED, and the only treatment I know of is to buy more thread, stabilizer and fabric. I just finished making a quilt for my daughter's wedding present. Everyone that sees it wants one like it. Hum, maybe my addiction will turn into my new business. Happy stitching!....witn no interuptions.

Yes, I am an addict and very proud of it..I just need the income to go with it..I need to get a commercial embroidery machine..I don't think anyone out there is giving them away though..Darn it..I could really use one to expand my business..Perhaps I will find one soon..that i can afford..Hope so..I will be more than happy to share me designs and forward my little embroidery machine on to someone else that would enjoy it as much as I do..All in good time..I need to get more designs and get something embroidered today..Feeling the withdrawals from being gone too much yesterday..Have a meeting with my SIS this AM for a coule of hours..She's here at a convention from Idaho..be good to see her, but I want to get something made for her before we meet..It'll be good to see her..Love to all God Bless you all and keep collecting..it is good for the soul...

I thought that I was obsessed with embroidery, but you certainly beat me! Will talk about it with my therapist at my next appointment!
