yeah!!
lots of kids love the bonking on the head bit
savages LOL
I love the idea of the princesses and fairy tales. Another great one would be to create Halloween and Christmas characters for those holidays.
Patty
CutiePie, Can you use pictures from coloring books?
Oh now I am MAD at you guys!!!!!
I am going to have Little Bunny FooFoo running through MY HEAD for days!!!!! That one is as bad as Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree or Little Purple Pansies!!!
Really though, I love all the ideas. The only thing I can think of to add would be alphabet. One with a letter and one with a pic.
Oh, and while we are speaking of Fairy Tales, use caution if you ever buy the original Grimms. They are NOT for kids, they are rather, well, GRIM!

The idea of puppets in a series is a great idea. Do you remember the "little golden books" we bought for our kids?
I love the puppets. How about a gingerbreadman family?
- Little red riding hood.
- 3 bears
- 3 little pigs
- and my mind goes blank on others
None for me please, no young ones in my house or family.
I too would love some of the fairy tale type of puppets. Little Red, Goldilocks, Hansel and Gretel would be fabulous
The Billy Goats Gruff would be quite a small set, but you could 'go to town' with the troll - and maybe do a bridge?
I love The Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly - I have done that with SO MANY little ones and it is always a favourite. I'm not sure that it lends itself to finger puppets though. I can see it as quite a big project with the old lady as a sort of bag, and all the creatures going down in size from the horse to the fly (Many years ago, when I ran a Play Group for pre-schoolers I hand-stitched a set that they would take turns with to 'feed' each into the next one. Sadly that set is long gone).
I like the idea of the Billy Goats and the old lady that swallowed the fly. Lots of serious play in themes. I wait and watch for your project to evolve.
I'd really like some of the Bible stories, like Noah's Ark, Jonah & the Whale, Nativity, David & Golitha and so on. Great for teaching CCD and the grands.
I love the old lady and the fly, used to have such fun with that one and my ks. I had a big cardboard lady with a zip lock bag attached to the back. The kids would put animals that I had collected (like little toy spiders) in her mouth. I had a hole cut out so they could see the animals in her tummy. Great fun.
Sometimes we played it that you could only put in things that began with the sounds of the week... harder but just as fun. The kids could come up with some pretty tuff stuff to swallow. lol
Those are good memories. I loved teaching kindergarten. Apollo, the Olympic Gold Medal Speed Skater, was one of my Ks and I taught him in a 1st/2nd class too. He was a wild one.
If my daughter is a princess, that must mean I am Queen.
finger puppets with letters ogn the alphabet, numbers, things mothers would like to teach there children. like little flash cards on mommies fingers. And it will help teach little ones and give parents and siblings a close encounters the the little one. A great bonding moment. Oh how I wish I still have wee ones around.
how about a set of:
puppies/dogs ... cute ones that could be STICK-DOGS
kitties / cat ... cute ones that could be STICK-CATS
Letters of Alphabet - geared for teaching the alphabet... picture on one side, letter on other side

your artwork on the old mcdonald set was great, simple outlines, quick to stich.
you could combine smaller songs/tales to make a bigger set.
stacylynn

I think a set of career puppets would be great, and teachers would love them.
Connie

How about a set of Punch and Judy.
How about some of the Nick Cartoons that kids seem to like. Such as Dora the Explorer or Spongebob Squarepants. Thank you kt3234 Karen![]()
