It was in the shop for two weeks. I haven't stitched anything out yet but plan to doing so today.
I can't wait to try out some of the new designs I downloaded from this set. I need to make a wedding shower gift.

So congrats! It is a terrible feeling to be with out them. Mine was only 8 days away for a checkup, I don't like it!
So we looking forward to see the finished towels!!![]()
Man, I can't imagine being without my machine for two weeks.
Even if there are times I don't use it for that long if someone told me I could not use it I think I would get really frustrated fast.
Happy sewing.

One good thing is that during that time I did get my sewing room cleaned.
Well I hope that it works great and that you are able to get everything done for the wedding shower.

Oh, I just hate it when my machine is in the shop.
So much sewing... so little time
Embroidery is a LOT more fun than housework.
Enjoy your newly returned machine![]()
Congra. For me, I have an embroidery machine collecting dust for 6mths or so since i last bought it. waste of $?
I dont have time for the hobby and i am new at sewing/crafts too. it really sucks. worse of all, i cannot think of places to emb except towels. fabrics wise, i can get lots of cute printed designs at my side. so i dont know why should i buy the emb machine in the very first place. argk.
anyway, i am customizing my study room at the moment. i will do a full study cabinet + computer table + one sewing machine for my emb machine. The other one, a small Hello Kitty, i tend to keep it inside. So hopefully I will buck up and start using my emb machine.
You just need some ideas on how to use it. I don't use the designs on clothes. I mostly do burp cloths, bibs, and towels. I recently got into making purses so I am hoping to put some designs there. I'm always checking other people's albums to get ideas too.
Did you invest a lot into your machine? Some of those can run into the thousands but you can get an embroidery machine for under 1 thousand that does excellent work. I have had mine several years. Only does 4x4 but I don't want to spend thousands to get one that does more and I don't want the sewing machine/embroidery machine combo either.
