      Smile Anyone from OKC,OK area

I'm new to Oklahoma, we have been traveling for 8 years and just purchased a home in SW OKC. Haven't found all the fabric stores, quilt shops, etc. yet. Am anxious to meet some other machine embroiderers. (Don't know if that is the right term)
I have a Husqvarna Designer 1 and would enjoy having someone to share info with.

      Hi,
I'm not from OKC, but am from OK. Wanted to invite you to the "Oklahoma" thread on this same "where are you from". There are several of us getting acquainted there. DonnaF

in moore there is the stitching post, on broadway. there is a sewing store in the center along i-35 where the wine making shop and tractor supply are(it is around the corner in back)
further to the north the place that does Husqvarna is at NW 50 and portland in Coit Square (Sew n Sew)
the stitching post has their first location at NW16th and MacArthur.
along May somewhere between NW50 and about NW60th i beleive there is a bernina store and a singer store (not real sure on these) the place in Moore has one in Edmond also (keep saying i'm going to get there one of these days)
Quiltworks is a major quilt store at N. Penn and Britton Rd. I know they are not the only place in town but they are the closest to home for me (Edmond)
