FSL star - large

How about a FSL star - big enough to put on top of the Christmas tree. As I am limited to 4 x 4 hoop (as I am sure others are) I would like to see it done in seperate pieces, eg a centre piece and then the points sewn out seperately and then attached. I have been searching, but can't seem to find anything like this. (Just trying to get organized for next Christmas). Thanks, Dee

I like that idea - then you could make 2 stars and join them into a real 3D star

It is a beautiful FSL star. Each point is a diamond that fits the 4x4 hoop. Then, you sew the points together to make a star. You could easily use this on top of the Christmas tree by making the flowers red and green, like poinsettias, and adding some crystals. Her FSL is very durable.
