Default still foggy on the concept

There is a design, and you say it is Redwork, Winter, Christmas, Not an Animal, Flowers and Plants, and Baby. Two other people categorize it as: Redwork, Not a Season, Christmas, Not an Animal, Flowers and Plants. So, you would each get 2 points for the 3 in common: Redwork, Christmas, Not an Animal, Flowers and Plants. With 10 people categorizing, most likely there will be others that agree with the Not a Season and Winter, which are contradictory, but that is ok, it is just different opinions.
I guess the concern I have is that I am a detailed oriented person and I might say "Redwork, Winter, Christmas, Not an Animal, Flowers and Plants, Baby AND Ornament." so then even though I did the work and I was close then I guess I would not get the points? My concern is the odds of getting even 3 people to agree on every catagory in every subcatagory is rare just becuase we are creative individuals.
Someone was saying they were only going to declare one item per catagory however in a sense that might dimish the odds of guessing what others might think are the main ideas of the design and how they would want to search for the item.

The other thing unclear to me was it states that it is per catagory...does that mean all the catagories collectively or the subcatagories? Because we have not had an indication of the points we may or may not have earned until the program is written it makes me wonder if me putting in all the time for something that potentially I could earn no points towards even though I have spent so much time honestly trying to address each design.
It's neat that the search engine will be more affective and clear and I appreciate all the work that is going into this website. It's been fun doing the hunt now that I know where some of the designs are because they were ones I catagorized "Oh that is on page 9".

Just want some reassurance that the work will be well recieved.

      Thank you
      Cynthia

      Wiske, you asked -

"So, the fact that we seem to be able to approve the already categorized designs, is a left-over from plan C?"
      Yes.
Also the fact that when you try to approve, it doesn't give you any point, but you end up in an error message?
Yes - so don't bother to try to approve them.
And: this means it still has any use to pick up categorizing again? "
      Again - Yes!

Cynthia - I have seen nowhere where it says you have to agree exactly in all categories. Each click of each little box is matched up and the program will see if others agreed or not on that particular item. So, if you clicked 3 different boxes in each of the subcategories, but only one of those items agreed with some others, you would get points for just that one.

I suggest you do the categorizing, have fun with it, and just mark the things where YOU think they should go. Everyone looks at things differently. One person will notice that the there are stars in the pattern, for example, and will mark that. Another won't. As long as 3 agree that it has stars, those 3 will get points for noticing. Some think something is not a season, others think that it is. So, just mark what you can. When you think about it, agreeing on just 1 item in each of the categories would give you 100 points for categorizing the set. (2 points per category, times 5 categories, times 10 designs - If I understand it right.) That would mean, if you wait until the set is on the $1 page, you could get a set for free just for taking the few minutes to categorize one. That is quite the deal.

So basicaly, if you want to categorize you go to design sets, then to a page and click on any page, then on vote for a design on one of the sets on the page, then if there is a categorize this design on any of the designs in that design pack you click on it, then pick as many of the categories you think describe the design. Is this right? There are 5 sections to the categorizing. You must tick at least one box in every section. If the section does not apply example you are doing flowers and so the animals would not apply, at the bottom is a box that says Not an animal, you would cick that. there is also one for seasons - Not a season etc.
In the last section of tags, I would choose 2-4 per set maximum.
I would also suggets not choosing Miscelaneous, unless there is absolutly nothing else to check.
Hope this clears up some of the mysteries.

I'm not sure what bookmarks are but I did want to tell the owner and workers of DesignsBySick that I have bought your designs off and on for over a year and you have some very pretty designs. I especially like your linen designs and the sunbonnet ones.I also appreciate the many free designs you have given to down load.Thank you. Once again, you have many nice designs. Romans1212

We are to look at each design separately, so if the book mark has a bird, then birds, animals. if it has a cross then maybe religous etc. Look at each design, and not the whole set.

Rebekah, thank you for answer, but if I need bookmarks to emb I could not open every category to look if there is a bookmark or not. That`s why I think that should be separate category "Bookmarks".

Why is there so many kinds of animals, why is not separated in just two groups: for example animals and birds? We misst some groups, like I said like bookmarks, alfabets, etc. and we have a lot of animals which most of people (like me who`s english is not native) even doesn`t know what are they.
