Thank you so much for posting that - I was thinking that was what should be done - but really hate for someone who has waiting a long time to not get a design because they were not able to check their facebook account the day it won - I guess If that situation comes, I can always put their request back up there.

I especially want to thank those who started this thread and the opportunity to get the free designs. A lot of work goes in to setting up the sites and getting it all working so smoothly. Life situations change and sometime we just need a little extra help for a little while. And having a site that works this easily is becasue of those who had the idea and the know how to get it working.

Granny Elen, you are doing a great job! Thank you for helping out. One thing that I did note (and change) is that when one of the top three (not counting those on voting hold) is a placeholder, the placeholder goes to the bottom immediately. This rule was devised because there was once a time that the top half of the list was placeholders and nobody was asking to fill them. So, we kind of "weed out" those who aren't voting/paying attention.

Just a reminder as to how to make a wish - this was posted a while back by Cutiepie - Hope it helps the newbies - I know this site is so awesome and so full of information it is easy to not find it all. Also make sure to let us know if you use facebook or not. As some designs are won on facebook (which the runner up of the design of the day) but don't win on the design of the day - such as the tractor that has been on the top for a while now. Also if you do not use facebook but get your design some way other than the design of the day - please let us know so we can move your place holder so you can wish for a new design. The site is manually done so communication it the key to making it run smoothly.

To make a wish with the proper URL, go to the page that shows the design set you want your wish from. Scroll to the bottom of the page to where it has a link that says "Vote for a Design". With your mouse hovering above that link, RIGHT-click your mouse and choose to "Copy Link Location" from the quick menu that comes up. That is the URL you want to use. I'm attaching an image of what this technique looks like on my computer. I have a ton of other "stuff" in my menu, but you can ignore that. Just find the "Copy Link Location" (or just "Copy" if the other isn't available).

It helps me if you put in the design description BEFORE the URL, but it doesn't matter that much which order you put them in. You can use the actual name shown on the site for the design you want (see that "Vote for a Design" page) or you can just describe it well.

Your "wish" should look like this:

dfischer I posted directions below so you, and other newbies, will know how to make wishes. Since I have time today I made the wish for you but I do not know if you use facebook or not to get your designs so please update me on this. If you use facebook, you may get your design faster so you can make new wishes sooner.

As your place holder is in the voting position and should have been sent to the bottom so I want to stress the following taken from the Informal voting page - Please fill your placeholder ASAP. Remember, it is better to have made a wish and change it later than to keep it as a "placeholder". Any placeholders that reach voting position will be automatically moved to the bottom of the list (without being filled) as soon as I update the list. Since there is no guarantee as to when I will be able to update the list, don't take chances and do it sooner than later. Thanks, and love to all!
