Not sure what your questions are, but I'll give it a shot.

HOW THE LIST WORKS: The wish list request thread (HERE) is the place to ask other members to vote for a design that you would like to have. When you make a request for the first time, you are put at the bottom of the list. As the requests above you are fulfilled, your wish moves up the list. Members are supposed to vote for the top 3 wishes on the list with their 3 votes. When your wish gets to the top, members will vote for it. When your wish is voted in as the daily free winner, you get moved to the bottom of the list with a place holder until you inform the moderator what your next wish is. It is your responsibility to keep watching the list so that you know when your wish has won. If you do not do facebook, you can be put on a list to have the facebook winner sent to you by email. If you receive your wish on facebook, it is your responsibility to let the moderator know so that you can be moved to the bottom with a place holder or your next wish and members can vote for another wish. Often the list moves very slowly as most people like to vote for designs in a new set when ever one is put up instead of the wish list. Also, some members like to vote for other designs in the same set as one of the wishes instead of the top 3. Eventually your wish will come up. The more people vote for the top 3 wishes, the faster things will move, but it is all voluntary. No one is forced to vote for anything. However, if you decide not to vote for a wish because you already have it, then your wish is not going to be moving up the list very fast. Also, if you receive your wish during the hourly hunt or hourly free, then you should let the moderator know and you can change it to something else.

HOW TO MAKE A WISH(request): Find the design you want and the set it is located in. Click on the "Vote for a design" link at the bottom of the set page. Copy the URL from your browser window and paste it into a post along with the name of the design you want and sometimes a brief description of the design if you think there might be some confusion. Include the size if it comes in multiple sizes. See some of the recent posts to get an idea of what you need. DO NOT paste the specific vote for design link as this is very rude and causes the vote to be cast when members are checking out the wish list and takes away their freedom of choice.

HOW TO VOTE FROM THE WISH LIST: click on this link http://www.embroideryforum.com/forum...-Three-Entries! Then click on the first link on the page and scroll down to the design that is listed above the link and vote for it. Close that tab and go back to the wish list and click on the link for the second wish etc. Sometimes you will find that you can't vote for any designs in the set. That means that a design, but not the one wished for has won the voting for the daily free or facebook free and the set is on a 7 day hold before a design from that set can be voted for again. In that case, you move on to the next wish. The frozen wish stays at the top of the list until it wins(voting for it will resume in 7 days) or the owner of the wish reports that they received it on facebook or elsewhere.

It sounds a lot more complicated than it is. If it's confusing, just ask more questions. I've tried to cover all the bases, but I've probably left something out. Hope this helps.

Please don't provide the link for a direct vote for your wish. It takes away our freedom of choice. The link should be

That way we can look at the designs and decide for ourselves if we want to vote for it. Most of us do vote for it or we'd never get through the list. We can also use the link if we want to vote for additional designs in your wish set while we are at it. Who knows, that way you might get 2 wishes at one time.

To reiterate, the proper link is the SET page for voting, not a link that will actually cast a vote. If you don't know how to post the proper link, that is OK. I find it easier when they are posted, but I can certainly find them myself.

You'll be asked to choose bird or milk. We only get to have one wish at a time. While you are at it, ask cutiepie to put you on the email list and she will email you the facebook winners in pes format. That's what I do. Then if your wish is granted on facebook, you get it without using Facebook. If you can't use pes, I believe there are free software programs out there to convert it for you. Also, if you get your wish on Facebook, you need to notify the moderator so that she can take your wish off the list. Actually you don't get taken off the list, you get moved back to the bottom and can then request your next wish. Great to see you here, I haven't been on the hunt chat for a couple of days. Hope you're doing well.
