Default View from my swing under Oak tree

As I sat out under the big oak tree late this afternoon - I wished I was a digitizer and could capture this view in thread.

I know what you mean! Such views need to be captured in thread.
I did so two years ago, all in cross sitch, this was the result. (You can read the whole story here.) - Hope you find a way to transform your lovely picture into some embroidery soon!

What a beautiful picture---I feel the same way when I look out over Lake Ontario--it doesnt matter what season. Nature is our best canvas.

Lovely view. So peaceful and with the boats I can see you out in one, just lazing about.

The view is lovely. I easily understand why you would just sit and watch.

The hill country in Texas is the most beautiful place I have ever traveled to. My paternal great grandparents lived in the area until they pioneered the panhandle.

Weinerin - OH WOW! What a beautiful quilt - is this done by hand or machine? You are truly an artist. I don't think this is where I'm supposed to comment on your quilt - but I'm new to this forum stuff............

LOL Sonja. Of course by machine (read the thread / the whole story from the start! I gave the link above. And you can always comment on the wallhanging in that "old" thread, it's not closed, so you are welcome to add your comments there.).

I digitized it myself. With the proper software you can do this too. (Maybe I'm going to offer a Picture-to-Crossstitch service on my new/relaunched site, let's see)

I would like to have that view from my swing, or sewing room window. Please enjoy a class of tea for me under that tree.
