Never give up, never surrender.
Had bad experience when a website redirected me to a manufacturer (Japan) of a product they no longer carried. Be cautious.
I'm sorry that you lost all of your designs. Please stay away from the chinese site as it is a good way to get viruses. There are a lot of sites out there that give lots of free designs. You'll also see under*Embroidery Design Freebie Links lots of links to good sites with lots of freebies.

Also another site that has lots of freebies without any worry about viruses or illegal designs is

May I please suggest www.Carbonite.com to protect your designs! My daughter killed my computer (desk top) and then the lap top died. If not for Carbonite I would have lot it all. I also have an external drive to save all my treasures to.
I will add my comments about staying away from the chinese sites, illegal designs are not fun.
