buying designs with points at hourly freebies

I have a question about how many points to purchase a design. Let's say that it is the one that will be next to expire. It says 10 points. However, if you hover pointer above, it says "purchase this design with your earned points for 100 points". Please help me to understand the difference. THANK YOU.

If you purchase the 10 points design and it deducts 100 points you will be reimbursed if you put in a support ticket - the last time I got the 10point design it only cost 10 points - I think the 100points message is there because that was the price when the scheme was first reinstated, and just hasn't been changed.

The 'free design' sale has changed since the above info - you have to catch them in the first hour when they are free or it will cost you quite a lot of points. (Still worth doing if it is something that you really want, because the points are still free of course!)

I am still a little confused as to how you earn points? I did what I thought it said on how to earn points but only earned 1 point for everything I did , facebook, liking etc.,, How do you earn points???

Please help me understand the points thing.

Do Points expire, and if so, when or how long before they do?? I did not think I had but 6 points but somehow I have a lot

....(over 60,000????)

is that possible?

or am I reading it wrong? I sure hope not......cause if I have points I'm going to get to spending them

On the DBS site, click the 'Points' tab and select 'Your Points Earned'
That will give you all the latest activity related to you.
See the line 'That leaves you with xxxxx purchasing points' - that is the number of points that you can spend.
Below that you will see the details of how you 'earned' the most recent ones.
There is no 'deadline' to spend them, but there was a time when the point system was discontinued, - we were given ample warning about this, and all had a 'spending spree' to use them all up.

I hope thatyou do have lots to spend, but if not - keep collecting! they do mount up fairly quickly.
