I cut and pasted this from her group every one this so sad i been praying most of the day for.

I am Jay, her sister and have to inform you of the bad news that she had a stroke a hour ago and was taken to hospital. Now as her sister, i know she don't have a husband who cares a bit as they are seperated for a very long time now and have to take care of her kids by doing digitizing for her website. Marina is putting hours and hours in her sets and you will always found them at most rediculous prices so everyone could buy them and it enables her to have a little income to take care of her child who is now in his last year in school. If any one of you could buy her new sets which is on intro price or the ones that are still on special price, this will help her a lot. The doctor told me she will have to be there for 4 days and you all know what this means, she cannot work while in a hospital bed.

Marina really does need some prayers and good wishes and this is the right place to get them started. I do wish her all the best.

Thank you for letting us know Tracy - this is grave news indeed, as there are so many possible consequences. It is lucky that she was taken to the hospital so quickly, which may well have prevented too much damage, and it is good to know that she has a sister looking out for her.
I have bought some of her wonderful designs in the past, but have received SO MANY great freebies from her - so will head over there to do my tiny bit to help.

you are very welcome I was kind of waiting to see if any one would post any thing on her before i did so I could not stand it any more and posted it. It is heart braking to hear this i love her shoes designs I think i have all of them.. Plus she is a great part of this community oh heck embroidery family.

I hope and pray that they got there soon enough to give her the stroke medication.

Thanks, Tracy. I had not been to her site yet today. I am shocked to read your note but relieved to hear that her sister was nearby and got Marina to the hospital in a timely fashion. I never imagined her financial situation and will do my part to help.

I am so sorry to hear this news. My heart goes out to her and her family. I was not aware of her dificulties and the need to digitize. I will try to do my part on her site. It was good to hear that her sister was able to get her to the hospital fast. My prayers are out there for Marina.

I just read on another site that Marina is still in a coma. Her sister has a 2 hour drive to the hosptial every day. There will probably be no updates on Marina's site as her sister is not familiar with the process. Other sites have started to collect donations to pay for her medical bills. I believe some digitizers will be donating designs for purchase which will be donated to the fund. Hopefully others will know more that I know.

I'm a member of Marina's yahoo group and her sister posted today that Marina is home and doing extremely well and walking on her own power ..... tired , but that is expected
