I may become an empty nester again!!

My daughter finally found a house she can afford. She has got the financing in order but the woman wants to give the other person until Tuesday to come up with the money. We are sitting here on pins and needles waiting for their answer. I so want that house for her and and my DGD. They need a place of their own and it is only 2 blocks away from us!Did I mention it is absolutely perfect for them? Please cross your fingers and toes that they get to buy it! They need some happy news as the legal battles with sperm donor and his mom have been ugly lately.

I will pray that things work out the way the your DD wants them too. I don't like the idea the woman is waiting for another person. I though house selling was first-come, first-served!

Yes, I agree that they need to be out on their own. Living with adult children with their own children is hard (even though rewarding in its own ways.).

OldHag - I pray that all works out well for your DD and DGD. It will be wonderful for them to have a place of their own and yet so close by. That is troubling that the seller is waiting for another family to get financing before making their decision concerning the home sale. Good luck to all. I've got my fngers crossed.
