This looks VERY interesting Tracy.
We always make fudge at Christmas time in our familly - I think I will have to do some experimenting! (With a bit of luck I will be the only one who likes it, and then IT'S ALL MINE!!!![]()
3 cups of powder sugar
1 stick of butter
2/3 of cup canned milk
2 habanero's peppers
1tsp of vanilla
1 bag of white chocolate chips
1 jar of marshmallows cream or fluff
1/2 almonds toasted lightly
in 2 qurt sauce pan sugar milk butter dock the peppers first before adding to the sugar mix and bring to a boil for 5 minute be careful this like to scorch easily add the chocolate fold in the fluff and vanilla and nuts
this may take a day or to set up

How hot is it Tracy? For someone who doesn't like spicy food, would it be just as good with only 1 pepper.

This is going to be one of the new goodies I make for Christmas this year. Thanks Tracy.
Ginny.... we need to hear from you.
Watermelon..you are missed.
Tracy...where are you.
Shastamon these peppers are verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry hot, the fudge sounds great, but without the peppers for me. My mother gave me some of these one time I though they were bell peppers, was cutting them up, holding them with a fork touched it to my tongue and will never make that mistake again. For anyone that likes spicy food these would will good.
Is that 2/3 cup or 2/3 of the can? Anyone else going to try it without the peppers?
opps on my part it 2/3 of a cup of milk
For those amongst us who don't speak American in the kitchen - a stick of butter is 4ounces. LOL
That sounds like some very interesting fudge! Ten years ago and I would have used the peppers - but I can't do the spicy stuff anymore. Alas - it's heck getting old!! Not to mention the fact that I can't eat it!! Way to much sugar for me. But I could have just one small little piece - enough to taste!!
But the dried fruit in sounds great. Maybe add some nuts as well. Something tart and sweet in one bite. Yummy. This will make a great Christmas gift!! Thanks.
Tracy the dried fruit is great for us that can't have the spice, thank you. This will make great Christmas presents.
I forsee a lot of Christmas gifts of various fudges in little jars with embroidered lid covers![]()
I was telling sis abiout this recipe today while we eating lunch at a Mexican restaurant. She wants the recipe to give to her boss. His wife is from South America and loves hot and spicy food. She'll make the fudge and send it to the office with her husband. and tht way sis will get to try it - lol. And bring me home a small piece!! YEAH!
can't wait to give your recipe to my daughter! she makes fudge every year and just mentioned she'd like to find something 'different'. we'll see what she thinks about this!
she made pepper jelly so pepper fudge may be right up her alley!
thanks again!
