I washed the rose pants, Anael. It would be a bit uncomfortable to put it on and take pictures now LOL! As soon as I can, I will post a picture of it.
You will be the best dressed person around on your vacation in all your new clothes. The roses design is very pretty. Waiting to see the finished project.
Thanks, TurtleOwl. I still need to make some tops, but I might just buy some, if I can get what I like.
Sonia
Your designs for your Jeans are really nice.
You chose great designs for where you wanted to put the embroidery on the jeans.
I think you will be the best dressed Vacationer anyone has seen! LOL
Keep taking those pictures for us to see all the wonderful wardrobe pieces you are making yourself for your holiday.

Thanks for the compliments, Denise.
The denim that I am doing now, is a lightweight sky-blue, and I am wondering what to embroider on it.

I am going to make coffee now and I will see whether I can find them. They were not in the cupboard this morning and I don't know what Peter did with the laundry LOL!
Is there anything stopping me from using the same design, different colours, on the same pair of jeans?
Sonia, not if you want to do it. Embroidery on jeans is very individualized. You can put it anywhere you want, in any color you want and if you want to mix designs or use the same design in different colors that goes to.
Did you find your laundry. still waiting to see the roses on your other pants.
A smile is a curve that straightens things out.

Peter is here this morning, so I can ask him for the roses pants.
I decided against different colours for the design, but I think I will make another pair of the same fabric - not too happy with the design.

Here is the photographs of the roses pants, taken standing in front of the mirror LOL!
And here is my big mistake on the butterfly jeans! The one design is 1" higher than the other one! I should have double checked and I didn't. Oh well, I did say that I would like another one of the same fabric!
The rose pants are EXCELLENT Sonia, and SUCH a good fit!
As for your 'big mistake' - how about searching out a narrow border design that would 'go' with the butterfly design, and then stitching one ABOVE the design, and one BELOW the other one. That way it will look as though you had done a deliberate choice of making each slightly different.![]()
Looks like you have been super busy too! I'm not sure I would worry about the 1" difference! The jeans are awesome!

I wish I had read this just as it was posted! I had just cut the legs above the design - urghhhhh!
I didn't think of doing a border at all and it is such a logical solution - I will remember that in future.
Now I need to figure out how the free-arm embroidery hoop goes onto the Artista and how it works. If I can get it right, I might embroider something small on the sideseams of the cut-off pants.
