Embroidery on Jeans

I have just completed the passport holder, jstitch!

While it was embroidering, I sort of packed most things away and covered my machines - what a strange sight that is! The only other time in my life that my machines were covered was when I was in hospital.

It's from astitchahalf - but with a bit of 'Sonia magic' added!

I still need make the little black number, but I did the purse in the meantime. The design is from A Stitch and A Half, but I changed it somewhat. The original design is too small for me, so I inserted a gusset and made it a bit wider and longer.

I did not take photographs of the shorts that I made for my husband and the bra that I made that goes with the panty is missing LOL! The gold top I made 2 off, the first being too tight.

The blue 3/4 pants is the one that I rescued from the placement mistake. It looks like I will have to do another post - can't get all the photographs posted LOL!

The passport holder came as an afterthought while cleaning the sewing room.

WOW is the only thing I can say........gorgeous! Your work is stunning, the sewing and the embroidery. I love the passport holder. The design on the front and back is beautiful.
The rescued pants look great on you as does the rest of the outfits you made. I hope you have a wonderful time in Mauritius. You deserve it!

I am starting to look forward to tomorrow, although the packing is getting me down. I want to take 10 pairs of shoes and Rob thinks I am nuts LOL!

Rob is probably right - but you MUST take those lovely metallic (gold?) sandals...and the beige...and the pink...and the blue...and the white...and the black.........

I need all of them, Moto, and he doesn't want to understand that I cannot wear beige with blue pants or pink with black pants. I don't understand men - they think one pair of shoes can go with everything!

Just pack them, it's not like you're taking 10 pairs of heavy boots with you! Men........they'll never understand what we need.

I found the design, I bought it quite some time ago, forgot I have it. It's time I do something with it, it stitches out great

I changed the stitch density to 0.35 on the satin stitches - I like the satin stitches to be really dense, especially the final satin stitch.

Sonia, All your things are beautiful. Wish I could do something like your passport holder while cleaning up but it would take all my attention. Enjoy your vacation with all your new pretties and the shoes to go with. Really just want to get back to my machine. Several days in hospital with pneumonia and several more napping at home and my mind is ready to do something but body still doesn't want me moving around.

TurtleOwl, I sympathize with you regarding the pneumonia. I got bronchitis halfway through the sewing and there were a few days I thought I was now going to make it. I still have a wet cough, but that is just too bad at the moment.

I have done all the packing, am now looking at some work to take with me and then pack up the laptop with all the paraphernalia to go with it.

OK, I really have to have that design!! I am going to Mexico in April, this would be great for the girls and I too each have something special for our miltary ID and passports. I love stitch a half designs too.
