Thank you so much for the suggestion, I did drink coffee this morning, it didn't help. Then I read your post and I thought about the hot tea, then only reason I didn't drink it this afternoon, it was 102F here. Now that it has started to cool down something hot, may be it will help

Make some extra strong iced tea, Pennie. It will be so refreshing in the warm afternoon.

I use instant rice and some fragrant oils in mine. the oil soaks really well into the rice. I mix them in plastic bags and keep the rice in them till I'm ready for use.

You use the microwave, but it's been so long since I had to use mine I've forgotten for how long. Maybe someone else will chime in here.

The Grange Supply sounds like the one to me, if you wanted to try the corn. But, AT&T yellow pages did have a good idea several years ago----let your fingers do the walking. Should only take a few minutes to find out if they have it.

I put mine in the microwave for 1-2 minutes mine is towel fabric.

Untreated fleece products are highly flammable. Always be sure any fleece fabric you purchase has been treated to make it flame retardant.

Thanks for this very important reminder, Tracy. I either will prepare instructions that the fleece cover cannot be placed in the microwave or change my mind and use terry or flannel.

That is too funny!! Thanks for the laugh this morning. It reminds me of my Dad years ago. He never did much household shopping and on the few times my Mom sent him to pick something up in a hurry he ALWAYS bought two. Didn't matter if it was dish soap or butter or 10 lb bags of flour. If one was good then two were better! lol.

I have used rice before. Made some of these for DH using small hand towels. Folded them in half and stitched the sides. Then made 'tunnels' to fill with the rice and finally stitched across the top. We love these, and the rice works well. Wellness center just suggested next time we might want to try the corn.

      Smile Rice bag

All I can think of is the corn popping when you warm it up in the microwave.

It looks like this topic has spread a lot of cheer today. Thanks for some good laughs, I wonder how many bags you will get out of 25 lbs?

I hope I don't ever find out, annap!!! Because, then I'll have to come up with something to make using the empty bag.

I am sorry if I up set any one on here over this topic but to dish some on a another thread is just wrong. I Had a learning disable all my life I tire really hard at times. Yes I miss spell things or us the wrong word when i ment something entirely different. I am sitting here very up set over the whole thing so i wont be on for a while.

All I was tiring to get across is that fleece has metal thread in and that if it is treated with teflon I would tell them to remove the cent bag and heat it that so that they do not start a fire in the microwave.

Tracimon, I don't know who said anything about you but don't you dare let them get the better of you!!! You love this site and you have really good friends on here. I can tell this by reading some of their responses between you. I know it is easy to say don't let it bother you but I truly hate to see you so upset. Your friends on this forum would miss you terribly if you weren't here. I am new to this site but I would miss your sunny, cheerful notes as well. I am sorry someone upset you so much. God Bless!
