sounds very yummy and would be scrumptious over ice cream!
My son always wants to spend a fortune at the State Fair on those warm cinnamon nuts. So...being the good, yet frugal mom I am, I looked up a few recipes on-line, and this was the best of the 4.
4c. nuts of your choice (I used pecans, cashews, and almonds)
1 egg white
1tsp. cold water
1/2c. sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1tsp cinnamon (I used more).
Beat the egg white and water until white and fluffy but not stiff. Add the nuts and stir to coat.
In another bowl mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Toss over the nuts.
Put on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 1hr, stirring every 20 mins or so.
Excellent as a snack or over ice cream!

So easy and so yummy. This is a similar recipe to what I use and they are always so popular.

Yum this sounds like a great recipe. I will try it. Do you know how long they keep for? Should they be put into an air tight container?
Life is too short even on the longest days.
Thank you for the great recipe ! I will be making these to enjoy during the steelers games !![]()
