no, haven't heard of this program. I use 4D right now.
Has anyone heard of this program or using it and if so, what do you think. Here is a link to it.

the way I understand it is that you would still need to have another program to convert it from dst to pes, jef, or whatever, but that you can do a lot with it.

Have you searched for 4D Extra on ebay, sometimes when people upgrade, they sell the old one & if you;re lucky you can get a good deal on them.

I still have 3D Studio. It's difficult to justify the expense of upgrading for the little bit of editing I do. My supplier didn't have any info yet on 5D on my last visit.
My 3D program converts to most home formats, Deborah, so should your 4D. The preferred user format is chosen during set-up and configuration.

Shastasmom, I just read through the stats on the link you provided and personally I think it will cause you a lot of frustration. I cannot imagine using Excel to edit an embroidery design, to name one.
that's why I was asking. Seemed to good to be true.

I don't know about this one, but before I would say don't touch it, I would try it out. You can always delete the program. The only thing you are waisting by doing this, if it doesn't work, is time.
