      Default Angle Pie

I only make this around my bday

      1 bar of German chocolate
      1/4 cup heavy cream
      1 container of cool whip
      1 envelope of unflavored jell-ten
      1/4 water
3 egg whites whip into shift peaks
1/4 -1/2 cup of almond slices

beat egg white in to shift peaks fold in almonds line pie pan with parchment paper spread egging into pie and bake 250 for 35-40 minute or until lightly golden. let cool down while you mix the rest of the ing.
melt chocolate with heavy cream double boiler
let it cool down for a bit and dissolve jell-ten
in water for a minute or two. then mix with chocolate and fold in cool whip and fell pie shell and refeg for about a hr or so.

OMG - heavenly is certainly the right description. This does sound delicious. There are a couple of ingredients that aren't familiar to me but I think I could use gelatine in place of jell-ten ? But I'm not too sure about cool whip. Can anyone explain this please.

gelatine is jell-ten. Heavy whipping cream, whipped very stiffly can be used in place of cool whip. If you can get instant powdered whip (I used to get it in Guyana) you can use that in place of cool whip.
