It's getting worse and worse

I think I'm beyond hope now.
When I first started, I found this place and its wonderful designs.
I spent some money, hunted the dollar pages, made a list of the sets I want, and got them all. The computer was stuffed with probably more designs than I'll ever stich out and things became better. Yes, the daily free, the hunt, all nice. I think I had two or three weeks without buying any designs.

I'd stayed away from emblibrary, because, without having aconcrete project in mind, I didn't want to spend 6-8$ on a single design that gets stuck on my computer.
And then I discovered their sales and offers. And now I'm hunting Emblibrary, too, impatiently waiting for new offers to come up.

If we end up homeless, you know where it all started

Embroidery Library will be my downfall. I cannot wait for Wednesday morning to see what is new and whether I can come up with a good excuse / project that I will definitely start immediately after having bought the designs. Then I go to the kitchen to make some coffee before I start fabric hunting (I always have just the right fabric for the project in mind), cannot find it, so now the project will have to wait until I get to town, then remember another new design from EL that will go nicely with a piece of fabric that I saw earlier, buy that design and start the fabric hunting all over, because I cannot remember where that perfect piece was. And that, my friend, is the story of my life!

By the way, what is new at EL? I have not checked yet.

The new ones don't bother me that much, not my cup of tea, but the 5 for 5 coupon is going to be used as soon as I can limit my choices to 5.
That means that I'll finally get the wolf designs for my friend's birthday present. So I'll now have to look for a blank sweater and a shirt

Well - you two have definitely done it! I had a design sitting in my EL cart from last week, that I had forgotten about, and here you go reminding me!
I have now purchased it, along with four others! (5 for 5) thanks to your thread!!

I wont live long enough to create everything I have snagged as freebies, or bought. i buy more threads everytime I place with Marathon, so much so I am now getting express delivery and only pay normal postage. the Delivery man knows my first name and wishes me a happy day sewing... I have over 500 spools of thread, the collection looks like jewels. I have three tubs of things and now I have my silicone, and compressed air, Baby gets cleaned every night , siliconed and the needle changed ready for the next morning. instead of putting the kettle on first thing of the morning I tun on my notebook, turn Baby on, thread her up and after hooping, I hit the sew button.

Hi Moto, Isn't it a lovely day? I do hope the sun stays out and it does reach the predicted temperature. My conservatory is bathed in sunlight, this is where I do my embroidering. i have the windows slightly tilted inwards from the top (have trilt and tip windows) so it just nice. I have the roof silver insulated, so the sun is diffused in there and keeps the tmeperature down without the light being blocked. I think I am in my own paradise today.

It is a beautiful day here on the South Coast too Phillipa, - my own conservatory is unfortunately too full of garden paraphernalia to be useful as a sewing room (for the foreseeable future at least), but you sound as though yours is idyllic!
I do have dancing rainbows around my sewing room though - from cut glass crystals hanging in the windows, and they are beckoning me outside
I hope this will be a long and balmy summer this year (last year seemed to come and go in a flash - with too much rain if I remember correctly.) It would be so nice if there was a balance.

No, coffee will always be the first priority, because without coffee, I might hoop my daughter'S shirt while she's wearing it.
In fact, I have problems making coffee without having had coffee first.
I have one of those nice pad machines and one morning I forgot to add coffee pads AND to close the whole thing and hit start.
Then I stood there and watched the hot water pouring out over the top for a whole 5 secs before I hit stop

And don't talk about fabric, please.
I have an estimated 300yrds and never the right one. At the moment I'm making a pirate dress for a fantasy fair and I'm afraid the red cotton won't last...

Ah ladies - at least you have sun. I got up an hour earlier then normal - I read the clock wrong. But the sun is trying to peek into the windows - but the danged old fog won't let it thru yet.

as for the rest - you sound perfectly normal to me. If I didn't have a car payment due this week I'd be checking out that 5 for 5 myself.

My sewing room at the moment has half the stuff out of my living room in it. We took up the carpet in there and are in the process of refinishing the floors. We'll be painitng the walls and redoing the room.

but alas - stuff ahs come up this last two weeks that have put us behind on that project. I'm gonna have to somehow move some stuff so I can sew. I got my blocks from the 50 state quilt block swap here and I want to get started on it!!!

Ya'll have a good rest of your perfectly normal days.

PS - keep just enough money to pay the mortgage Shihaya or else you won't have a place to play with your machine or a way to turn on the pc to cleect more designs or store the fabric. Priorities!!!!!!

I swear I am going to beat Shihaya and Sonia to bits with ropes of thread!!! Emblibrary designs take up 1/2 of the space in my computer! Of course ya'll said STAY AWAY which translates into "QUICK, GO CHECK!!!!" Man, they have the fruit designs on sale!! I can resist anything but temptation!! I have MANY of their designs, especially nurse, quilting, floral, FSL... I have to go eat chocolate to settle my nerves now!!

melting chocolate!!!! I still have night mares over that one! Last summer I had a play date with a fellow ME/quilter friend, I took chocolate with me. It melted all over my ME disks and the stack of quilt blocks I had made!. I literally licked off the disk covers and hand washed all the blocks. Another time I had my cell phone in my fanny pack with a chocolate bar. What a mess.

ya, and that is how I ended up NOT being able to find things!! Buy while at work and forgetting that I did not download So I keep a jump drive in my pocket or purse
